Is the trade in even worth it ? I have 2 pairs of old gen1 Pros where for each, one AirPod got really staticky.
Trade in is says $30 which I know isn't a lot. Just don't know if I should say f it and trade them in
In the same boat, one recently got static only (left bud) when it is in noisy environments (possible noice cancellation issue), but has lasted me around 4 years. If they are only offering 30 id rather keep it until it does or have as a backup.
I always question why $10 off the all-time-low discount seems so good on Apple products like this. I mean it's a great product but wasn't it available for $190 last year around this time? I did purchase some from this deal, but I'm hoping this pair doesn't stop charging like my gen 1 AirPods Pro.
$10 off an all time low is a good deal on anything lol

I had the same experience. First of all, maybe because this is a high value item, Amazon does not allow Kohl's drop off. It has to be UPS pick up, and it has to be picked up the next day. So I can't even open the return request any time I want. Instead, I need to plan the next day that I will be home, then open the case previous day.
Then it will take 3-5 days or more to be delivered back to Amazon warehouse. Once they receive it, it takes up to 30 days to actually get the refund.
I got the AirPods Pro 2 during Prime day early October, decided to return on October 18, and just got my refund yesterday. Huge pain, will not do that again.
Apple enforces significantly stricter rules in exchange for letting Amazon carry their stuff
It's the worst place to buy (Apple products) if you might return it, as discussed
I went ahead and ordered at Best Buy. I'll pick them up this afternoon. If it goes cheaper somewhere else, such as Costco, then I'll return these.
$160 was my target price for these for the Black Friday season, so I am happy.
I do have Prime Visa so I was hoping for an additional 5% back, but I'll take it.
Thanks for posting the deal.
No need to return. I bought these Airpods 2 weeks ago at Best Buy and I contacted their online customer support today and they gave me back $10 credit.
I had a horrible customer experience with my trade in for my Airpods Pro v1 to v2 at the Best Buy Emeryville, CA store earlier this month when the v2 was last on sale for $170. The associate refused to take my perfect working condition APP v1 and its charging case because I was missing a charger. I explained that Apple does not provide a separate type of charger and that the case itself was the charger which connects by lightning cable to a separate charging unit. He said okay then you have to bring in that charger. I went in circles with him for a few good minutes and I then asked to speak to the store manager. I explained this all over and he agreed with his associate to refuse the trade in. I asked if he would accept the trade in if I brought in any old lightning cable. He said yes he would. I didn't have a lightning cable with me and feeling tired and exasperated, I told him to just cancel my store pick up order and walked away after thirty minutes of my life that I could never get back. I later chatted with BB online to complain about my experience and he agreed with my explanation but said there is nothing he can do with what the store does. I still wanted the upgrade to v2 anyway and I went to another BB store to buy it without a trade in fearing to have to waste time explaining about charging Airpods all over again. I just gave my v1 to my daughter to save me the agony. Good gracious! (BTW, I talked to BB online chat and got the $10 price adjustment today.)
Glad I passed on the trade in. They pushed back on my Apple Watch trade in a year ago. Ultimately they took it. No reason not to but there was some required debating for a few mins.

They will likely match it in 2-3 hours

Of course you keep them. Airpods Pro Gen 1 is still great.
