Don't expect much in terms of official updates. For custom it's fine. The Edge was one of the leading phones in 2023 for battery life.

Keep in mind the 8Elite will kill this and the 8Gen3 by a landslide.

8Ellite is considerably more expensive than 8 gen 3 too so expect to pay a premium if OEM does not eat the cost for you

Definitely. Qualcomm will be charging a hefty premium, similar to Nvidia for desktops.

Just wanted to point out the large disparity in performance for those waiting for 8E. I've beg waiting for the Edge to drop, because it's a very slim phone in person.

Best buy dropped Tmobile in August 2023. You can still buy the phone and activate with another carrier. You can also immediately cancel once the phone ships and you'd still have an unlocked phone.
