Had been waiting for a deal on this monitor. Lowest price thus far. Supposedly, this is the top of the line 32" 4K QD-OLED amongst competitors with the same panel. The Samsung and Alienware models have been much cheaper, but I didn't buy those for they both lack an audio output port (other than ARC). Plus, this one has a KVM switch which I highly desired. Compared to competitors from MSI and Gigabyte, this one has black frame insertion and Dolby Vision.

Yeah, I pulled the trigger myself. I had been waiting for a deal on this monito. It had been stuck at ~$1230 since forever.

There have been good sales on the Samsung and Alienware versions. But this one seems to be the most popular model among enthusiasts since it has all the bells and whistles (except DisplayPort 2.1 — which is only present on the Gigabyte version of this panel).

Legendary find. Thank you! I sprung on this with Amazin. With returns through Jan 31, that gives me a few months to test, and see if prices come down through the holidays with the other 32" oled monitors I've had my eyes on. VRR flicker is a worry of mine, especially with my own personal sensitivity to it, but crossing my fingers....

I think they offer a 3-yr warranty that includes burn-in.

Wow! Now that's a deal. Wish I had thought of checking there this morning. None in stock at my local micro center now. And I doubt it'll come back in stock while they have this deal on.

Unfortunately the problem with Microcenter is that they never have enough stock (especially on things like monitors and such). Each store will have maybe 3 or 4 units. So it' may not technically be YMMV but it sure feels like it.

The AW has dolby vision, dolby sound ( forgot the name) and you can use the new EArc sound features. Bad info all around.

This or Alienware AW3225QF? Latter is 800 after $100 off if you have the AMEX offer for 100 off 500 at Dell.

I didn't say AW monitor didn't have Dolby vision. When I said it doesn't have audio output I meant a 3.5mm port, which is useful for folks with regular PC speakers (and wish to switch audio to those when multiple devices are connected). I realize I should have specified I meant the 3.5mm port. And yes, you can absolutely use the eARC port, but I do wonder how many people keep a soundbar on their desk. Plus when you use the eARC port, you lose one input. Most people would rather just use the audio out from their PC. And that's okay if you have one PC connected. But gets cumbersome when you have multiple devices connected to the same monitor.

Various models have pros and cons. Just depends on what you are looking for. This particular monitor perhaps makes the least compromises feature wise, so was just pointing that out.

If the AW suits your use case, it is absolutely a great buy.
