Why not buy costco warehouse for $699 w/ blood oxy, other than not having black, or as much band choice.

Doubt. These likely won't go on "sale" until midway next year. $50 off is a standard Apple sale for their current gen products. This is about $80 off

Most people buy black because it is the only thing new this year, otherwise i think ultra 1 would be a better deal.

I've seen people complain that the black finish comes off with dings and drops. Tried one on at an Apple Store and sure enough, there was a ding on the edge of the face where the natural titanium was showing through. Just something to be aware of if you're on the fence about black.
