Not a fan of OneUI too much.
You go to mobile area of Bestbuy and explain you want to trade an old device. They can check value in system, then will share if it's worth anything. You'll get a GC. You can trade and recycle electronics.

Not a fan of OneUI too much.
I'm not sure what you gain by changing to pixel. OneUI7 beta is closer to stock android skins.

1) Get phone from swappa or ebay with imei info
2) Tlife app and upgrade phone
3) Choose trade in on a line and select manual option
4) Add device details and imei, should show $800off
5) Order and price should be taxes only with activation fee waived.
Note - S10e and S9 are the cheapest for trade in with $800.
You should be okay selling in person. Just be mindful of fake bills and meeting location. Facebook market, Craigslist, offer, etc. There's also hardwareswap on reddit.
