I have the same question. Too many models to choose from and I do not even know how they differ

I would look for higher sucking power. I bought a fancy Roborock from Costco for $700 but retuned after a month (now its $500) and then bought a $70 one unbranded from Walmart but I liked the $70 one because it had 2 rotating cleaning brushes and feels like the sucking power is way more than fancy Roborock because I could see it picked up way more dust/debris than Roborock. Good thing about Roborock is the mapping capabilities. The cheap one just goes headless but I put it in a room and close the door. It runs till battery runs out but cleans way better. I can't rely on it to clean the entire house because it will mis many spots.

I read where someone said the Q5 Pro had better suction than Q7. Would be good to confirm. I just received a Q5Pro and my feedback: WAY quieter than my other 2 units. The app setup if very intuitive and easy. Clean-up was much better with the Q5P. The only downside: The wifi module doesn't support 5g (common with vacuum and other IoT) and doesn't support special characters for your wifi password. Overall pretty happy. Found a good deal on filter and brush replacements for Black Friday as well. Make sure you pick a boat load of these up as well.

Yeah, I've had robot vacuums for over 12 years now and Roborock is in a class of its own for mapping. It's not just a good thing, it's a must use case. Once you have one that works nonstop for weeks you'll understand. It's just too annoying finding a dead robot that's been off for days.

Also, it stores the map in the cloud so if it goes completely dead it doesn't need to remap like I've seen several have to do.

We have the s7 max ultra+ and the mopping abilities on it with the seperate container are pretty amazing. For upstairs we have the Q7 Max with dock. It does the job well enough. If you need mopping try to spend a but more though. The suction power could be better, sure, but it's much better than about anything else in this range considering the Roborock app and mapping. It was considered powerful just three years ago, after all.

This is a good video review to watch.

Sorry on the late reply. I bought mine on AliExpress. It worked like a charm and a year later is still working well.
