Just returned our gateway this am. After a big outage earlier this week, this AM we woke to no internet. Tmo pushed an update to our gateway and bricked it. Our billing cycle starts on the 20th. Today is the 21st, they said they will cancel it next bill cycle - $46.45/mo for a service that barely worked and now I owe an extra month for a service I can't even use. Before the outage and before they bricked our gateway, it was pretty rough to use it. We could see speeds in the 70mpbs range at most, but it would drop and doing a zoom call across it was not feasible.

Did this last year for a free 43" Fire TV and fought them for 6 months and never got the TV rebate I followed all rules on. Be careful

A 4 series 43" is more of the "current" model, while they still sell the 2 series for ~80$ less at 150$. Just a general idea on value / recency of what you are getting.

I'd 100% fight this charge and file complain to the FCC.
Appreciate the feedback. I was nervous to try it out having thought of getting rid of cable internet. Glad we decided to stay put.

Am I supposed to get an email confirmation after applying for the rebate or is it just the confirmation code on the final page?

If you have a Capital One card. You can double tip with Capital One Offer at $175 cash back for home internet and the $150 from Tmobile gift card. Steps: Sign up for internet through Capital One Offers portal, then apply for rebate on Tmobile website for the $150. Then in 30-45 receive both totaling $325. You're welcome.

Weren't they giving out a $200 Visa GC for new home Internet lines until a while back? Isn't this a worse offer than that?
i had it through Sams Club and got some extra bucks from sams club besides the tmobile rebate. it took a while to get the money though.

I actually had an offer for $375 on my cap 1 extension, so maybe wait a day or two after you act like your gonna sign up. $375+$150=$525 oil spill slick

Plus it already appeared in my cap one account.

The $375 offer from Capital One seems to be targeted, as not everyone is receiving it. After checking six Capital One accounts within my family, only one account had the $375 promotion. All the others were limited to the $175 offer.

Wish it was $35 without a postpaid plan. Don't wanna use up one of my autopay discounts for this.
That's not how it works. The auto pay for voiceline is different then the internet line is have 11 voicelines and used up 40 dollar discount, I'm being charge 35 dollars for internet.

The service is incredibly unreliable even in a very urban environment. We had it for a year and switched back to fiber
Where do you live? Any websites that show reliability vs area? I have AT&T fiber now that I pay $85/mo for.. This could cut those costs in half if you factor in the $150 back and discount with a mobile line..

It's the best TV I've ever owned. So responsive.
I got a 4 series 50" as part of last years Black Friday offer. The media player part feels so slow, I am considering buying a FireTV Cube instead of using the built in!

Buy this instead for $39, you'll be much happier.

How do you get this deal if you have the business tablet lines already? Can you even do this deal?

I had a 9 month period of working remote and signed up for the 5G internet service to have as a backup for cable modem. It worked for two weeks, and never worked again. T-Mobile support confirmed the device was working, signal was good, etc, but it never had internet service again. I spent too much time messing with it and finally gave up, cancelled as soon as I could. It's too bad, because when it was working it was perfect for my need. I ended up switching to Starlink Mini on the $50 plan. It's faster and I can take it camping. Only drawback is the $50 plan has a data cap before it starts costing more.
