So is it safe to say that once the Verizon line on esim1 is deactivated, we can activate esim2 with a Verizon mvno such as total wireless and esim1 will still unlock after 60 days? If so, that would be amazing!!
I don't specifically know about Total Wireless because I've never been a subscriber to that MVNO, only to US Mobile using their Verizon option (Warp 5G).

This is what I know about US Mobile:
US Mobile works on Verizon locked phones, but only on their Warp (Verizon) service.
US Mobile works on T-Mobile locked phones, but only on their GSM (T-Mobile) service.
US Mobile works on AT&T locked phones, but only on their Dark Star (AT&T) service.

Has anyone ordered ATT iphone as a new customer and cancelled service PRIOR to activating the phone? I am interested in knowing what happens when the iphone is started the first time after the ATT service is cancelled.
Since there is no ATT service, does it remain reseller flex?
yes

Here's what he is saying
If you disconnect Verizon service before turning ON the phone, the iPhone Unlock policy will change to "4000 US seller flex policy".

I cancelled Verizon service while the phone was in transit. When I check IMEI on SICKW, it shows the Unlock policy is "4000 US seller flex policy"

Note: I did not check the unlock policy before disconnecting the line. So I cannot confirm if it was under Verizon unlock policy prior to service disconnection.
Exactly what he wrote, cancelling the line prior to receiving the phone and turning it on is exactly what changes it..or keeps it in 4000 us reseller flex policy

Anyone knows what time will walmart wireless open on Friday? Is it still 10am or 6am because of black friday?
I asked an OSL [oslrs.com] wireless rep yesterday and they said they'll be there on Friday at 6AM which seems to match the earlier posts in this thread.

I'm honestly not sure about the answer to that question. I don't even know if they will let you cancel at this point anymore tbh. They will probably just say you can or have to return it when it arrives.

edit: your best bet to avoid all charges and stuff would be to refuse the delivery. Then again if you cancel asap before 3 days the most you would get charged is like 7-10 dollars

I went to Walmart now and learnt that Trade In doesn't work most of the time. And that Walmart Guy was telling me to use ATT or Verizon WEbsite to get the trade in value!!😅

What is the best way to unlock the cellphone if you are able to cancel while the phone is in transit? Assuming the phone at this point is "4000 us reseller flex policy"
Is Tmobile the easiest?

Yes. I saw some comments regarding early unlocking. I also saw people cancelling their service before delivery so they can bypass the locking peiord entirely. While there are some sucesses, I noticed at least one person was not able to get their phone unlocked.

Since unlocking is very important to me, I rather wait 60 days so my phone can be 100% unlocked. I dont want to take any chances.

So here is my plan:

Tomorrow (black friday), go to walmart store see if the phone I want is available. If it is available, I will order from walmart so I can get the gift card in the same day.

If the phone I want is not available in walmart, I will place an order sunday night (I want to get the full 3 business day for shipping and handling. this should maximize my chance of not paying the $35 activation fee)

I will wait for delivery, then activate it, then pay it off, then cancel it. I will definitly not cancel the service before activation because I want to ensuure 100% unlock success
I went to store today and got 15PM VZ and Walmart Gift received in 5 mins timeframe of order. Hope you are able to get model you are looking forSmilie

What is next- are you canceling today itself after setting up account. Do share steps when you can
