iPhones are unlocked automatically 60 days after activation (with IMEI and a paid plan). You don't even need to open the box. Simply check sickw.com on day 60 or 61 and the status should show unlocked. You can then setup the phone anywhere, without or with a SIM from different service provider.

Bought this from previous deal.

Used edge with ms shopping which was 15% back last time. Bought 2 and showing $30 back pending on both transactions. It's 12% now and seems the best deal available.

I had chase offers on both freedom unlimited and CSR for 25% back capped at $15. Those both qualified so $45 cb plus standard cb from credit cards combined. I see the chase offers are back on both of those cards for me now; almost tempted to try and buy 2 more.

Received both phones, they will come with SIM card and instructions taped to back of iPhone box. Follow instructions which include going to straight talk activation website and inserting the sim. The silver, or whichever plan you choose, is tied to the sim and you will see a message to that effect when completing activation on the website. Once activated, text UNLOCK to 611611 twice and you will receive a response that lists the unlock date. You only have to pay 1 month of service and the device will unlock 60 days post activation.

man... just think about it... obviously they want to sell you.... please read... so many ppl have already gone through the process and have explained many many times that it's just 30 paid and 30 wait

I did too, had no trouble unlocking mine (or the several other ST/TF phones I've unlocked this past year). File an FCC complaint, online policy clearly states 60 days.

My advice to those having problems is to just call the number and have a rep activate it for you if it doesn't activate immediately on website.

I'm having the exact same issue. First iphone 13 took me 2 minutes to setup. The second iphone is running into this issue. At first the ST Activate wouldn't take my IMEI number (was getting a red error to call ST). I've been on a 2hr call with the ST rep. While I waited in the back ground I occasionally tried the Activate on the website, finally in went through for some reason but it is also now asking me for a pin for the service plane.

Beginning to wonder if they ran out of the ST branded ones and shipped TW ones but didn't rescan IMEI/sim into the system as ST. They're all the same (TW, TF, ST) and shipped from same location, just coded for each company. Would explain why there are issues activating.

Anyone order recently and not immediately get a confirmation email? It's only been 15 minutes but when I've ordered before, it's usually been immediate.

ETA: It showed up in the Spam / Junk folder about 20 minutes later. Now let's see if they ship lol.

I would question it, a BYOD wouldn't need to be unlocked as it would already be unlocked.
I've always used the Psim with plan to unlock. Suggest calling the unlock department so they can check it in their system, that way you'll know for sure.

They don't ship on weekends and it's usually a few days for processing then has to get to UPS for shipping. Holiday will slow things even more.
