iPhones are unlocked automatically 60 days after activation (with IMEI and a paid plan). You don't even need to open the box. Simply check sickw.com on day 60 or 61 and the status should show unlocked. You can then setup the phone anywhere, without or with a SIM from different service provider.

Bought this from previous deal.

Used edge with ms shopping which was 15% back last time. Bought 2 and showing $30 back pending on both transactions. It's 12% now and seems the best deal available.

I had chase offers on both freedom unlimited and CSR for 25% back capped at $15. Those both qualified so $45 cb plus standard cb from credit cards combined. I see the chase offers are back on both of those cards for me now; almost tempted to try and buy 2 more.

Received both phones, they will come with SIM card and instructions taped to back of iPhone box. Follow instructions which include going to straight talk activation website and inserting the sim. The silver, or whichever plan you choose, is tied to the sim and you will see a message to that effect when completing activation on the website. Once activated, text UNLOCK to 611611 twice and you will receive a response that lists the unlock date. You only have to pay 1 month of service and the device will unlock 60 days post activation.

man... just think about it... obviously they want to sell you.... please read... so many ppl have already gone through the process and have explained many many times that it's just 30 paid and 30 wait

Should have been a standard white Apple iPhone box with crumpled paper packing (not plastic air bags). Only had it happen once with a different company and it was a pain to get refunded - might want to file CC dispute so you don't get charged, ST will likely take their time getting you your money back. My experience is just call the automated line on the red card 877-430-2355. Don't even need to open anything. Just enter the IMEI off the box. Starts with 355…I think. Once you enter the IMEI they find the plan you've already paid for online. You'll get a new number for any zip code you enter and you do not even have to associate the phone with an online account. Done maybe a dozen phones this way without a hitch.

There was probably a delay in activating the phone since I didn't receive a welcome text message from Straight Talk until like 8-9 hours later.

Thanks for the input. I got a new number and thats exactly what happened probably, it took almost 9 hours to get fully activated.

I purchased online and said "your order has been placed and will arrive by UPS in 1-3 business days. But I did not get a email confirmation, and when I tried to check on ST web, it says "no order is linked to my email" account. Does anyone know why it like that?

I dont get it why are people saying to "pay"a month and wait a month? The instructions were to buy it with the silver unlimited plan which is 1 month. so that would mean the first month starts when when you activate the sim and plan that was bought right? then finish that month and sit and wait right? from the comments it sounds like we supposed to buy another month on top of the original month of silver unlimited and then wait a month.

Will this phone unlock internationally? I want gift it to my in laws in another country - they can wait 60 days for unlock but does this phone need to be physically here connected to a network to unlock?
