I have this iPad and it has worked well overall for past 2 years. Just be aware that the 11th Gen is supposed to be released in March 2025 with 8GB of RAM and either A17 or M1 chip (both required for Apple Intelligence) and 128GB of storage, similar to how the iPad Mini was recently updated.
Granted this new iPad won't be $249. It'll probably be $349 or $379 initially. If you don't mind the fact that the 10th Gen will be out of date soon and its end of life will be 3-4 years earlier than the 11th Gen, it is at a great price.

If you don't mind the color of the iPad and you want more storage. Walmart has the Silver and Yellow 256GB for $349. Pay with PayPal and get 5% points and it's not too bad of a deal. ($349 + $30.97 Tax - $19 (PayPal 5% Points = $360.97)

Costco has the same price for the 64gb. I'm holding out on a deal on 256gb. https://www.costco.com/ipad-(10th...ue&nf=true

Check out the Noir app/Safari extension, it's well worth the small cost and the developer is constantly updating the app based on user feedback.
Yeah I don't think I tried Noir, thank you for the suggestion Jdsteel7

i got the same response
It took me 5 attempts with chat on target.com. Had the item in my cart on target app. Finally got a match with Amazon and they altered the price in the cart.

If you're getting the two years of Apple Care with it, this deal is actually a few dollars cheaper than Costco. Read in another thread that their generous return policy didn't apply to tablets, so this seemed a little better to me.

Did a price match with Target, only ended up saving a few bucks more but I prefer Target over Amazon in general. Ended up paying $245 I believe after all was said and done with my RedCard. Silver 64GB, just for general web browsing and streaming needs nothing special it'll do the job just fine!

abt.com is able to match Amazon's price through the live chat. I purchased two and used the AMEX offer to get $50 back (with over $500 spent at abt.com)

Are you really spellchecking a deal site? 🥴 I would downvote you but you seem like the type of person that would ruin you for like 9 years. Go find some deals. Or go outside. Or both.

I compared both in a Best Buy and they seemed and felt identical. Same screen, speakers, camera... Processor benchmarks similar. Extra RAM on the air might help if you have some kind of crazy workload... But then you wouldn't be in this thread. I opted to not pay the 44% upcharge over the cheap one, and will just upgrade 44% sooner
