FYI : Once the phone is ordered with trade-in, the promotion should show up at your TMO Account promotions [t-mobile.com] page within a couple of days.
Limit: For those wondering if there is a maximum number of phone lines per account that can be upgraded through this promo, it seems it's 4 per account (as confirmed by T-Mobile rep).

That's impossible, how can I mail it and have them receive it the next day? They should have an expiration date at least a week or two away, so that I can first receive and activate the new Pixel 9, copy stuff over (if needed), delete all my personal info from the Pixel 6 ("You will remove all Device data and personal information, passwords, security software, or user locks."), then ship it to them and leave time for shipping carrier to get it to them.
So I reluctantly backed out at the final step.
What's next?
Once that cool new device is in your hands, get started on these important next steps.
Trade in your old device
Once your new Pixel 9 Pro ships, you'll have 30 days to send back your current Google GVU6C Pixel 7 5G 128GB White - T-Mobile in good condition to retain your promotional value of $800.00.

Which promo code or offer code did they use?
Is that not an issue for a TMO trade-in ?
Shouldn't be. The criteria is only that the screen is not cracked, turns on, isn't locked, and has no water damage
No chance. How these sites operate btw is an employee with internal access is hustling money on the side and unlocking devices they shouldn't be unlocking. Systems are way more strict than they used to be years ago, with there being an audit trail for these types of actions

Phone gets blacklisted buyer gets hosed. Phone got blacklisted because the seller didn't pay his bill. Seller gets hosed.
If the account and or promotional credit isn't affected (good standing) then the buyer doesn't get hosed as the account will be current and thus the phone won't be blacklisted.
I went to my local costco tmobile kiosk and they didn't have anything like that.
Am I missing something???
