FYI : Once the phone is ordered with trade-in, the promotion should show up at your TMO Account promotions [t-mobile.com] page within a couple of days.
Limit: For those wondering if there is a maximum number of phone lines per account that can be upgraded through this promo, it seems it's 4 per account (as confirmed by T-Mobile rep).

That's impossible, how can I mail it and have them receive it the next day? They should have an expiration date at least a week or two away, so that I can first receive and activate the new Pixel 9, copy stuff over (if needed), delete all my personal info from the Pixel 6 ("You will remove all Device data and personal information, passwords, security software, or user locks."), then ship it to them and leave time for shipping carrier to get it to them.
So I reluctantly backed out at the final step.
What's next?
Once that cool new device is in your hands, get started on these important next steps.
Trade in your old device
Once your new Pixel 9 Pro ships, you'll have 30 days to send back your current Google GVU6C Pixel 7 5G 128GB White - T-Mobile in good condition to retain your promotional value of $800.00.

Should I just refuse to accept delivery? Or accept delivery and then go to store to return it?
I received a text that the monthly credits are scheduled to start. If that happens while the phone makes its way back, will all credits etc. be undone automatically after they realize I didn't accept delivery?
I'm out of country and has not been able to access Tmobile app to upgrade but it works through TLife app. Glad I got my 2 orders through before the offer is gone.
Now, which case did you all pick?
There are 2 caseology (parallax and nano pop) but both won't ship for a while. A few cheaper options on Amazon but suspect brands.
I picked an $8 case from Amazon that supports wireless charging magnets.

IF I ACCEPT THE OFFER PRICE OR PROMOTIONAL OFFER ONLINE OR OVER THE PHONE, CAN I GIVE YOU THE DEVICE IN STORE? Yes. If you accept the Offer Price and/or Promotional Offer online or over the phone, you can bring your Device to a store within the expiration period. We may inspect the Device to verify the condition of the Device matches your responses regarding Device condition, which may result in a Device revaluation.

In the T-Life app, log into your account and there is a notification about
"Learn How To Finish Your Device Trade-in" entry.
Click on the entry, it said "How trade-in work" and there are two options mentioned
One is "Send it in" and the other is "Go in store"
In both options instruction, it only has instruction to "Transfer your data" and "Turn off Find My iPhone/Phone". But there is no instruction/step mentioned to Reset the phone.
I assume we should still reset the phone before going to the Store to return the trade-in phone?
And before you reset the phone like Samsung phone, do we need to logout of those Samsung/Google accounts from the old trade-in phone or just need to do reset?
Back in the day, where unlock codes were calculated based on the device IMEI, all you had to do was to find the algorithm to unlock. You could find the algorithm or toolkit on private websites for free or a small fee. Good luck.
I would love to unlock bootloader and get GrapheneOS running on this phone (can only happen with unlocked bootloader).
Thanks in advance.
