Not going to lie, didn't do any research aside seeing it was at its lowest historical price (in a rush FP'ing deals). RTINGs [rtings.com] had the x12 as being smaller/lighter and better for gaming, so some may prefer this option.

This is just what my left-handed nephew needs. It has forward/back buttons on both sides, apparently.

I have this mouse for the last month and a half and I've been really impressed with it. I needed a more comfortable mouse similar to the Logitech G203 and this has delivered. The mouse and scroll has been really nice and the dedicated dpi button was the main draw to me. In fact IMO I think the dpi is too much, I don't like super sensitive mouse DPI settings but anything around 8000 is good enough for me

The reviews says it does.
I've gone through 3 EVGA mouses (2 of them the same model) in 1 yr and have experienced similar scroll wheel issues with all of them. I no longer use EVGA mouses. It's a shame, since I like the look and feel of them.

I too have stopped using evga Mice and keyboards. Their products do not last very long and their customer service is horrible. It would cost more to ship it to them than to buy another one on sale.

Bougbt the x17 last year in support of EVGA, but the mouse wheel seems to have a back slide effect which makes it basically unusable. If this model does that too then it's not a good deal at any price.

A high DPI mouse for less than $10 that isn't supposed to have any problems? No way!

I sent one back for the mouse wheel issue and had the same issue after a month on the second one as well. The issue is not on the wheel itself but the rubber is too loose. a couple drops of super glue under the rubber has solved it for over a year.

I've RMA'd 3 of these mice because of the mouse wheel failing. Eventually, a little plastic piece will break, leading to the mousewheel becoming free spinning. This is an inherent design flaw and there is no way around it, unfortunately. Do yourself a favor and get a different mouse that will last.
