Has anyone done a store trade-in where you take your old phone inside a regular corporate store? What do you give them label/phone and the order number?
Moreover, they letting us on Simple Choice plan to upgrade the device for $280 is insane, to say the least.

The CPU performance on Pixel 9 XL only 10% better than S23FE per Antutu.
the sound is not much better, just ok !

What about myriad of other features? Camera is the best selling point for Pixel phones and I bought it solely for that alone. And, you get updates very frequently compared to other devices and much, much, much less bloat compared to Samsung as they have 100s of apps preloaded!
Last but not the least, you are comparing a flagship (Pro 9 XL) with a S23FE device is just sick!

I purchased one Pixel 9 Pro XL, chose the Essentials 55+ plan, then repeated the process. The cart showed $48.33 for the first line ($40 line + $8.33 for the phone) for 24 months, and $23.33 for the second ($20 line, $8.33 phone). Offer code was P942.
Total monthly is $71.66. If I tried to trade in 2 Pixel 7s, it would only give a trade in credit of $110 for each phone (and ~800 of "promotional credit" offer P943. I spoke to a "very experienced 10 year T-mobile phone rep who claimed that that's how T-mobile does it and that I would not be able to combine the 2 promos.
Net cost is 24 * 71.66 + $182.50 (a bit of a rude shock but CA charges sales tax on the 'full' price of each phone) so ~$1902. Less $960 for the service (say $20/month per line) less $375 (assumed resale value of 2 Pixel 7s) so about $284 per phone all in.
Not so slicka deal so having second thoughts but I guess I'm stuck with a restocking fee now if I change my mind.
I don't know if there is any way to get more for the trade ins and it's probably too late now

Don't send the phone with the envelope alone.
