Are these the steps? The device is fully unlocked and no issues with updating the stock ROM?

Also, we are NOT putting the SIM during this whole unlock process, correct? If there is a SIM, then it will use the data.
Not that I've ever found, without relocking the bootloader.
So only 480P SD on Netflix and other DRM apps.
One of the reasons this will be my first unrooted phone I've used in a while.
I've seen posts on other issues on the pixel 9 when rooted as well.
The main things I needed root for can be done now without it.

I preferred the green version, but wasn't willing to risk the backorder causing issues with the promo applying properly. I battled the online store for about an hour trying to get it to allow me to select in-store pickup, but finally gave up and ordered the black version shipped. Their store webpage is atrocious and I was only able to get the stores nearby to populate for selection a few times of all my attempts.
I think I get more of it now. OEM unlock can't happen with carrier locked phones so achieving OEM unlock means it's carrier unlocked. Initial setup somehow doesn't allow phone to carrier unlock. But does it get carrier locked if you lock bootloader again? Like the purpose of OEM unlock during initial setup is to just carrier unlock it and return back to stock hoping carrier unlock remains. Or don't install GrapheneOS and use bootloader unlocked phone to connect to TMO, will it carrier lock again?
How did you activate the 4 phones?

When i log out of my account i can still see the promo. Not sure what is going on. Maybe they ended it for simple choice.
