I have the corded version. Would this be worth the upgrade? Last thing I want is the battery dying half way through a cut.
I'm reading some reviews of the battery not being great. I'd like to hear it from our SDers.
I have a NIMH version (not this one but prob very similar). Battery life is fine and you can still operate it while its plugged in. I would say the difference between this and a corded or lithium version is the power/output with the latter just feeling more "substantial" while cutting your hair

I have this one or one very similar, the battery is not great. I more or less have to keep it plugged in while using it. You can use it unplugged but I feel like it's less powerful and battery runs out kinda fast. If I had to do it again I'd buy a more powerful version, corded or uncorded.
"Technically" the battery might last through a cut, but the power is very underwhelming imo if you're cutting through thicker hair. If you're just doing a buzz every two weeks then yeah it's probably fine. If you actually have to cut hair then I'd advise against it. Like I said, it works, it's just not ideal. I wouldn't get again.
Great clippers for the money. I have 2, one for my hair and 1 for trimming our dogs hair. It's been great, and battery life has never been an issue. I always plug them up a day or so before I know I'm using them and they work fine.
Great clippers, been using these for 5+ years, just replaced the blade itself due to dropping it one too many times.
Same happened to me, I picked up a new set because I dropped it on cement, and even then it worked (imperfectly) for 3 years afterwards. Would recommend

Same with me, been using it for years. Works fine plugged in also however never had it die on me yet. I try and never leave it charging for more than a few hours at a time, if that matters. Figured their not all that smart.
