Just amazing and I applaud the creativity of the store management to a paint that they should be recognized for this. Have sent an email to corporate so they can reward these employees for protecting Best Buy's business and going above and beyond what corporate promos are 👏👏

Step 1: Get a $100 gift card
Step 2: Scan the card. Check to make sure the code on the screen matches the barcode you scanned (just for sanity / security)
Step 3: Click Pay.
Step 4: It'll prompt you for your phone number for circle rewards. Enter it. It is preferred to enter in the phone number as opposed to scanning the barcode (because you don't want to pay with the wallet barcode, see below).
Step 5: After you click ok and it thinks for a second you'll get a prompt to pop up that tells you to grab a Target gift card to scan to load with $15. Grab it off the rack above the screen and scan it.
Step 6: After you scan you'll be brought to payment options. Select card. Insert your card and pay.
I do not recommend paying by wallet barcode. I did that on my first card and it gave me a scare saying payment wasn't allowed (I had gotten 3 e-gift cards earlier in the day). The payment did eventually go through, card was activated fine, and I redeemed it to my Apple balance, but I did not like that scare. Every subsequent card I just used the Target Red Card at the terminal and had no issues. Bought 10 back-to-back at 9PM - just a bunch of college kids staffing the area who couldn't care less.
I got similar issue. The card tab was ok. but when i try to redeem it, it code is showing invalid...Trying to contact with CS.
