I was today year's old when I found out that you don't need to refrigerate Franks Original Hot Sauce. Other variations you have to (like the Thai Sweet Chili) but the Original is vinegar based and because of its minimal ingredients list it can stay fine in a dark cabinet.

"The product will generally maintain good flavor quality for a few weeks after that date if refrigerated. Refrigeration will help maintain its flavor; however, it is not necessary if you prefer your Frank's RedHot® to be room temperature. The recommended shelf life from the date of manufacture if unopened is 24 months."

It will last forever but I think the plastic is not good for long term or maybe it's the oxidation from being open but for my uses about 9 months was it and the flavors change.. awesome stuff!

Great deal op ty. I normally buy it from sams club 50 oz at a time for 8-9-10$ . 11$ and more than double the amount!

Wings are one of my favorite foods to make, and Frank's is the best. Buffalo is good, but you can take it to another level by making your own sauce with Original as a base.

This stuff is not "hot" by any means. You'd have to have an awfully low threshold to even call this warm.

I still make my own sauce using franks original or Buffalo as my base. A little melted butter and garlic on either sauce is a great sauce. I sometimes add sugar or honey , a handful of other spices there's so many options too many too list !
