Personally id say wait for another $10 to $20 off. I'm a huge SH2 fan and while the new game looks gorgeous, some of the changes that were made I don't agree with. The big thing being Silent Hill is always about atmosphere and not combat. It's kinda hard to imagine a SH game where every corner has an enemy. The atmosphere is supposed to create the tension, not the enemies

I'm about 15 hours into Silent Hill 2 and I love it.

I've never played the originals before either, so I went into it entirely blind and without nostalgia. The closest I can compare this game to is Resident Evil 2 remake in terms of the way the game can feel. Lots of puzzles, beautiful looking, eerie as hell. Pairs well with an OLED display, headphones, and zero lights on.

I had my doubts that Konami/Bloober wouldn't be able to pull it off, but now this gives me huge hope for Metal Gear Solid Delta.

I also never played any silent hills before this one. Also loved it. Started a little slow for my tastes, but then you just start descending through hell.

I'm not a religious man, but I probably said Jesus more than I ever have after the daytime hospital area until the game ended

Oled in hdr with the ps5 atmos software for headphones also elevated this game to another level, like you said

I just snagged Silent Hill 2 for $30 at Walmart, couldn't believe it! Also grabbed Spiderman 2 for $30 as well.

Looks like Walmart sold out of SH2. Curious if that's it for the sale/duration of BF, cuz then the other competitors can just keep it at $50 for the rest of the week then lol. Oh well.

Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 split-screen with my wife has been a lot of fun, so I'll throw in a vote for that. (BYOW - bring your own wife)

It must have been a free PS+ game at some point because it was already in my library, but $15 is still a good deal.
