Seems like Bower's Revenge can be played by 2 players on the same switch. For the second game, you need a separate Switch per player (up to 4)

In Super Mario 3D World, you can play local multiplayer with up to four players on the same Switch. It supports up to four players on a single system, with multiple systems over local wireless, and with multiple systems online.
I have played it to confirm, and it is listed as such on the offical site.

I enjoyed the 3D World half a lot.

I have been saving Bowser's Fury for a rainy day and haven't played it yet, but from what I've seen I'm pretty sure I'll love it.
