I got this when it was $1400 last month. It has only 2 RAM slots, and it's apparently picky with what it will allow to run at full speed, otherwise it'll downrate some third party sticks to 5200 MHz. People in the thread for the last one were exchanging their OEM RAM sticks as some upgraded to new kits. I got one of those and am running 32GB of the OEM RAM, and others are running 64 with third party. For storage, it has 2 M.2 and one 3.5 inch slot. The 1TB NVMe mine came with was small form factor 2230 WD SN740. It runs super cool and quiet, so no issues with thermals. No problems with CPU stability either after I installed the relevant BIOS update. Overall runs great with no issues so far.

You can upgrade RAM, SSD, CPU, GPU and WIFI card. Upgrade is not "impossible".
It has a 1000W power supply so not sure that is even an issue.

Thank you Dr.Wajahat! You are posting great deals! This is even better than your recently posted r6. Much more powerful gpu and only slightly worse cpu. Also it comes with 1000w PSU insted of 500w, so you save $50 on the upgrade that is absolutely necessary. I went for it. The cart showed me a price of $1400, but it went down to $1350 at checkout. I don't like to buy dell in general because they use propietary Motherboard and psu, but I went for it and because this is the quietest desktop out there, and the best dollar per FPS ratio.
How did you get it to show $1,400 in cart and $1,350 at checkout?

FYI American Express Everyday Card has $100 statement credit for Dell online store if you spend over $500. I'm not sure if all Amex cards offer this tho. Just log into your Amex account on the app and click "Offers" then click "Shopping" and you can type "dell" in the search bar. Add it (the offer) to your Amex card and checkout at dell.com with your Amex card for the $100 statement credit. Save another $100!!

Forget the upgrades, if you're buying one of these, just beef it up now. I ordered the i9-14900KF 32mb RAM 4080 super nvidea 16gb video board, 2tb SSD & the icing is the 1000w PS all for $2160 including taxes& 10% discount.

To sweeten the pot, I put it all on 12 month 0% DFS credit. The intel chip and nvidea board alone are worth $1500; this is a steal!

Got this exact one on the last deal, was able to add 64gb of crucial pro ram running at 5600mhz, and added a 2TB Samsung nvme drive with no problem. Mine came with 1 stick of Samsung 16gb ram.

This is a pretty slick deal, literally. I am surprised that only one person mentioned the Intel CPU issues with the 13th and 14th generation which this one is. Make sure you have the newest BIOS for this motherboard when you get it. Intel has supposedly fixed this issue, but general opinion is that these CPU's may still not be in for the long haul. I would probably still get this if I was in the market and see what happens.

I finally click buy and I was able to stack everything. 6% cash back from double rewards, 10% off for being a new customer, -$100 American Express offer and it came to $1280 with tax.

Got this awhile ago and through the miracle of cashback and stackin discounts and getting dumb cs reps, ended up a little over 900 after tax. Upgraded to 64GB, added a 4tB nvme, and a 12TB 3.5"… it's been a great machine

Anyone looking to buy compatible RAM for the Aurora R16, here you go - Limited-time deal: Crucial Pro RAM 32GB Kit (2x16GB) DDR5 5600MHz (or 5200MHz or 4800MHz) Desktop Memory CP2K16G56C46U5 https://a.co/d/6qNgeGC

This RAM runs at full 5600 MT/s.

Idk why it's not specified on the Crucial website compatibility list but this should work according to comments from people who have the same PC.

Btw, this is a kickass deal. On last Saturday, I pulled the trigger on a RTX 4070 build plus $50 PSU plus $52 express shipping because this one was going on for $1,799 at that time. Saw this deal today and my heart dropped. I immediately cancelled my RTX 4070 build order (custom order, so it wasn't built yet) and placed an order for this configuration. This config turned out to be $50 less than my previous order and with free shipping arriving this Friday and is so much more value comparing RTX 4070 vs RTX 4070 Ti Super.

Thanks a lot for this deal.

Anybody have a spare %10 off code they are not going to use, i signed up with 3 different email accounts and haven't gotten anything yet...
It took me 2 days to get the email with 10% off. I signed up with 2 accounts because I didn't get one on the first account after waiting for more than 5 hours. After 2 days I got the coupon code for both emails.

Got it last time on deal for around 1275 after tax. Used Amex and First responder discounts. Missed CB site discount which would have been substantial.
It is sooo quiet and smooth with intense gaming though not used for more than 2 hours at a time. Hope this helps!

Jumped into the pool with 12% CB (we'll see if I get that), Amex offer of $100 off $500, and finally got the 10% email signup code. Even includes free shipping. Looks like an amazing deal - thanks OP for posting!
