Do I have to provide the choose my port-in at the time of placing the order or can it be done in a couple of days?
I am on TMobile now with 1 month left on the current contract (last billing cycle starts Dec-3rd, which I can pay off on the 4th). So, porting the number will mean a bunch of hassle I think. Since I use google voice and don't care for the old number, could I just get a new number at mint as a new customer and get this deal? Or, as I mentioned, port-in after the 3rd Dec...
TIA.

I did it this way, I am a serial "new" Mint customer who uses a Google Voice number, and happened to be closing out my old plan over the last few days. I did the deal you reference here yesterday, then saw this deal and used my new login to get the existing customer deal for $300. The phone should unlock by the time my 3 months are up, but to be honest I still don't see a better plan for my needs at the moment so will probably keep rolling over to new plans with Mint.

I can confirm that you can order 3-month service, port in your number, have the account created and logged in. Then go to mintmobile.com homepage from the same browser session, top menu under Phones => Deals, you should see the Pixel 9 at 299. Click Details on it and the details page should not show you option to pick plan nor SIM type. It should only offer protection plan and a button to add to cart.

Edit: I added 3-month 5-gig service and used "freemonth" promo code to get it at $30 + tax and fees.
Can you buy 3-Months service with the new number and then logged in for the Deals?

I have read many pages on this thread. Seems SIM can be switched to another phone. And this phone will still be unlocked after 60 days of activation.

I've tried twice to get this deal over the last 3 days and both times my order was cancelled. I'm an existing customer. Phone only order. Anyone know why?

Can you tell me more about this car unlock thing on the 8 pro?
BMW IX only supports UWB frequency for detecting whether you're near your car for automatic lock/unlock with proximity. Only Pro versions of google phones have UWB, unlike Apple which puts it on all their phones. Useful for the find accessories function.

The fingerprint sensor still is bad on my P9P. I weirdly feel like it was better on my p8p.
at least you wont get blinded at night when unlocking in bed. Sucks in the dark when it flashes your face when you're trying to unlock.

Does the port number have to be a non-Tmobile number? I have a google fi number, trying to figure out if the port in would work with that.

Patience... I ordered on 11/26 (existing Mint user via the link I posted on page 10, which unfortunately now asks for a plan purchase). On 11/27, I received a Mint email saying "Your Mint order has been received!" 3 hours after that, I received an email saying my order shipped via FedEx from CA. Estimated delivery is Monday 12/2 to NH.

This is a good deal. Better fingerprint sensor, better screen resolution, better camera, better battery, 7 year update window over the Pixel 7. And more "enhanced" trade in value for next year!

$299 for a flagship phone, are you kidding?

For those of you who are able to buy the phone as existing customers, how do you plan to unlock the phone after 60 days? Specification, how do you plan to activate the phone then have it unlocked after 60 days?
I have been Mint customer for over 4 years now. I seem to still be able to see the phone only deal following the stops posted upthread a few times by helpful members.
My worry is unable to have it unlocked in due course.
Could you guys share your methods? Much appreciated!
