Did you activated with eSIM or physical sim option. Can it be activated immediately with physical sim?
i bought the eSIM and activated it on my current phone so that I could make a mint account, and then bought the pixel 9. but from what other people are describing it sounds like some were able to order it without even making a mint account.
you could probably do physical sim but you'd have to wait for it to arrive and I didn't want to risk losing out on the deal

is this better than visible iphone 13 deal?
Get the pixel if you want something that you can find a charger for anywhere.

Get the iPhone if you want a non-standard, non-universal charging port, and non-standard, often non-compatible default apps that make it harder for you to share calendar events, map locations, and photos.

***INSTRUCTIONS FOR NON-MINT CUSTOMERS THAT JUST WANT THE PHONE***
This requires 2 orders and Esim supported phone:
ORDER #1 (to get active account)
1.) Order $10/mo deal for 3 month with ESIM ONLY = $30 + TAXES
2.) Download MINT app first. Then Activate Esim. Get phone# and create password and restart phone.
ORDER #2 (GET PHONE)
1.) Once you have the account, login on DESKTOP VIEW via mobile device or better on DESKTOP PC/MAC and login. Hit allow on the sent SMS to your phone to verify IP. Now login and find SHOP NEW PHONES
2.) Look for pixel 9 by clicking deals or visit: https://www.mintmobile.com/device...9/6810275/
3.) Place order and wait 60 days out of your paid 90 days of service to use anywhere.
YOU NEED THE 3 months plan to wait the 60 days and unlock. Activate phone at least once with esim and you can put it away until 60 days or use the phone and service.
I did this all in less than 20 minutes!
THIS IS NEW INFO THAT MIGHT WORK AS WELL TO UNLOCK. Per stlgamer: (unverified) "…call Google at 650-253-0000 and ask them to perform a "google factory reset"

For anyone "ordering late" like l am, the deal IS currently still active and l have just placed my order for the phone for $343.51 (NY tax/fees) What l have done:
  • Download Mint Mobile app on "extra" fodder phone to place a new eSIM on and open the app
  • Claim the 3 month $10 a month ($30) promotion and move on to check out & pay for it
  • Create a new number and install the eSIM on your phone (physical SIM requires time to ship, which is way slower and tbh it may be out of stock by the time you get it), go through the whole activation process etc etc
  • Go to the Account tab on the Mint Mobile app and then go to "Shop New Phones"
  • Pixel 9 does NOT show up in "Phone Deals" landing page for some reason, so click on the hamburger icon on the top left, twirl down "Phones", and then press on "Deals"
  • With this, the Pixel 9 will now show up (as the first phone listed) and you will be able to purchase it with no extra plan attached for just the 300+tax/fees
Additional note: Watch your phone/email in case the charge gets stopped due to "fraudulent activity", in which case you can just 'place the order' again and it should not decline if you have done the whole "YES THIS IS ME BUYING THIS SHIT" option via your bank notification.
Some people have said it has hung for a few minutes processing so if that happens to you, just make sure it actually did or didn't go through before trying to order again. You should receive an email notification with the order shortly and then you are chillin! Enjoy and happy holidays everyone!

I have a question. The phone can be activated any time, but the 1 year plan needs to be activated within 45 days from the purchase date. Is this correct?

HOW DO YOU PLAN ON UNLOCKING? Don't you need to activate first in their system so they can unlock 60 days later?

It's true. Someone about 10 pages back posted a link to order the phone. I didn't have any issues. I know in order to unlock it though I need to sign up for 3 months of service.

I did exactly this yesterday morning. Received the phone this afternoon, moved 3 month eSIM over to the Pixel and I'm ready to start the 60 day clock now. Good luck all.

I went to Mint website and ordered a 3 month unlimited plan for $45. Mint gave me a second 3 month unlimited plan for free. I ordered one esim and one physical sim. I ported a number to mint and put the esim on a Pixel 7 i own. I then used that phone with the active 3 month plan to order two Pixel 9s for $299 each using the link someone posted on page ten. So the total cost was $45 for two unlimited 90 day plans plus $598 for the two phones. I will have two 90 day plans to unlock both Pixel 9s.

Did you call or use the customer service chat to transfer the esim to the pixel 9?
