For one charge? Dang, that's a great battery life.

There's an online tutorial on how to disassemble the device and replace the cheap batteries with Panasonic eneelops. I did that with mine and it's still going strong after a couple of years now.

Yup and you buy the new model only to realize the same thing happens again. Eventually need to tear it apart and do a battery replacement just to stop generating waist. Otherwise a good product, had too many of them.

I've had mines for over a year and so far so good. That said beware to all buyers this is not safe for sensitive areas and will easily cut. Also I know it says that it's water safe and it is but it hardly works if it's wet or if you use it in the shower

I've nicked my wanker on this but nothing too bad. I've had it for 5 years, though, and maybe it's because I never oiled the blades? I'm going to for next round.

Anyone have any suggestion for a superior one for this role?

The risky part is the blade with the plastic guard on it. NEVER take off the plastic guard and use that end of the shaver or there will be blood. As a matter of fact, I don't even need to use that end of the shaver. I just use the other end with the pivoting head.

It is repairable at least for the most part, needs some soldering knowledge though.

I was reviewing both when I purchased this one and they are about the same. Nothing is 100% nick free but both are about the same

I nicked myself with the guard on, stay at 5mm or more to be safe. I nicked myself at the lowest level, it cuts you so easily. I stopped using that end and only use the other end

Yep... It's risky and uses more power from the batteries so I don't use that end anymore.
