Limited-time deal: Amazon Basics 16-Pack Rechargeable AA NiMH High-Capacity Batteries, 2400 mAh, Recharge up to 400x Times, Pre-Charged https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NWVWKRG
No, I've always used eneloop and tried these, hardly hold a charge. Eneloops by far are better.
Agreed. I bought a bunch of these late summer for fake candles. They need to be charged before using or they are noticably dimmer than the others (tenergy, power owl, eneloop.) They have decent life after that so... I didn't know what that means. Bigger voltage drop off? Might be fine in some applications given this price point, but I won't be buying today ...

Did you buy the 'Eneloops' on Amazon? ;-)
No, I got them on this Best Buy deal years ago. Take a look! Happy Thanksgiving!

The High Capacity version of these are good. This version I have relegated to using in remotes and such because they are considerably shorter capacity and are really only for low draw use cases.
I was just looking at the high capacity ones. I have these black top ones and the grey top 2400mah are only 20 cents more each.

I haven't had bad luck with these but it's never bothered me they just need to be charged more

I'll say again, I've gotten these several times. No issues. Some were Japan, now they are all china, but no problems.

I only use the 2000mah.

I have 10+ year old eneloops, 10 year"kodak", and some ebl. The ebl are not great.

I think 2000ish is the sweet spot for any nimh battery. Anything bigger seems to be hit or miss.

Again, I have 24-30 of these, no failures, test at rated capacity.

I'm happy with them.

Yup, IKEA laddas all the way
I second this. I've tested quite a few of the Ikea Ladda batteries, and they are well made.

BTW, for low self discharge batteries, 80% after 2 years is not realistic. I usually see about 2/3 to 70% retained after about a year. I wish we could buy cell phones with this type of battery.

I bought these for a wireless keyboard and water flosser and they worked initially after being charged but then when I needed to charge the batteries again it took two tries 8+hours to work . I don't think the shelf life is very long 🤷 ♀️

I've bought these in the past and they seem to be slightly larger than normal batteries. They somehow got stuck in some kids toys. YMMV

Powerowl brand sucks too. No way they reach advertised MAH. The only battery worth buying is the Panasonic Eneloop. I've had them for 10 years every batch I buy.

With a battery charger. Just search for it on Amazon.
