No, I've always used eneloop and tried these, hardly hold a charge. Eneloops by far are better.

Agreed. I bought a bunch of these late summer for fake candles. They need to be charged before using or they are noticably dimmer than the others (tenergy, power owl, eneloop.) They have decent life after that so... I didn't know what that means. Bigger voltage drop off? Might be fine in some applications given this price point, but I won't be buying today ...

I don't wish to hijack this thread but does anyone have reviews of the different types of Tenergy rechargeables? PRO, premium, and the lower level? Pros are so expensiveFrown. But probably not as expensive disposables after future tariffs

In my experience anything made in China doesn't hold up and I've never seen Tenergy not made there. Made in Japan is the better long term ROI, they'll last 10+ years easily.

It is really you get what you pay for problem, there are billions of people in the world that cannot afford things. China catered to these people by offering the cheapest products possible and gave them access

Most things are made in China. Including some Samsung batteries an microcenter in house brand. An there is only one factory in Japan that makes the good batteries. Just cause American resellers choose to sell stuff they know doesn't work to make extra money; doesn't mean everything there is bad. Amazon refusing to remove fake silver isn't china's fault. This is literally Amazon who used to sell rebranded eneloops an chose to switch to save a few bucks. An to keep the positive reviews from when they were eneloops

Definitely don't buy these, I got some of the AAA ones last August, they sort of worked for a while but after maybe 4-6 charges can't hold a charge and are dead after a day or less in my food scale that I use daily, I had to switch back to my eneloops to have them last at all. The eneloops last months in the scale, these last weeks to days and definitely don't hundreds of charge cycles.
