This is a pretty good deal from Verizon. This offer expires on 12/2. > QA note: Offer extended

https://www.verizonwireless.com

Get up to 4 iPhone 16 Pro 128Gb free via bill credits over 36 months after trading in any Apple, Google, or Samsung phone with any new myPlan Unlimited line. This includes the cheapest and lowest tier Unlimited Welcome. For 4 lines it works out to be $120+taxes and fees with a debit card autopay.

Terms: "$999.99 (128 GB only) purchase w/new smartphone line on Unlimited Ultimate, postpaid Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Welcome plan (min. $65/mo w/Auto Pay (+taxes/fees) for 36 mos) req'd per phone. Less $1,000 trade-in/promo credit applied over 36 mos. per phone; promo credit ends if eligibility req's are no longer met; 0% APR. Trade-in must be from Apple, Google or Samsung; trade-in terms apply. Apple Intelligence is available with Siri and device language set to U.S. English. Some features and languages will be coming over the next year."

In addition you can recieve a $300 Verizon gift card that will appear as a popup during checkout.

Terms: "Get a $300 Verizon e-Gift Card on us, when you complete the smartphone purchase from your cart. You'll be able to redeem a $300 Verizon e-Gift Card in My Verizon or vzw.com/myverizon after placing your order. You must submit for redemption within 60 days of order. Your reward will be sent via email within 8 weeks after receipt and validation of claim to the submitted email address. If service is canceled or device is returned, claim will be invalid. We reserve the right to charge the amount of the Verizon e-Gift Card to your Verizon Wireless account if, within 12 months, service is canceled, price plan changes from an eligible unlimited plan, or the line is connected to a device payment plan regardless of whether the new device is activated. A suspension without billing will add the time you are suspended to your 12 month chargeback window. Add'l terms apply."

Verizon devices auto unlock after 60 days.

Due to repeated questions in the thread here are additional details.

The $300 Verizon GC offer is tied to purchasing a smartphone online. You are eligible to claim this offer for every order transaction regardless if you are placing an order for 1 phone/line or 10 phones/lines.

The $200 Verizon GC offer folks have been receiving via sales chat/phone is a switch promotion. I am not able to find the terms for this offer but in the past this has been an available offer which requires you to port in from a non Verizon carrier that includes the various Verizon prepaids and MNVOs.

To my knowledge these Verizon GC offers have 12 month service terms or you will be charged back "claw back"

There are currently 2 separate iPhone 16 offers.
- the offer in this post which involves the trade in of any Apple, Google, and Samsung device for $1000 in bill credits with new lines
- no trade in required to receive $1000/$820/$640 in bill credits with new lines for the Ultimate/Plus/Welcome plans respectively

When you add the phone to the cart you must choose the right offer otherwise you will not go through the workflow with the step to add a trade in.

In addition if you enter a non Apple, Google, or Samsung device during the trade in you will receive the actual value of the device, including $0 if its older to be recycled, AND you'll be defaulted to the non trade in promotion.

This is the reason at checkout some people are seeing $10/month or $5/month because they've selected the Welcome or Plus plan respectively and the non trade in offer has been applied.

There have also been a lot of "can I trade in XXX phone?".
The terms state you can trade in ANY Apple, Google, or Samsung phone in any condition. In my experience the any condition is intentionally meant to covered cracked screens and aesthetic damages. The device should turn on and function well enough that the IMEI can be retrieved and have no swelling/damaged battery (for safe handling reasons). Regarding any phone from the 3 manufacturers the process is constrained by the system and the list of devices/imei in its database. Be reasonable and don't expect extremely obscure or foreign region only devices to come up.

You can determine for yourself if a device qualifies for the $1000 by going through the online order process. You will need to enter the IMEI so you must have the device in hand. If you are not getting the $1000 value then you likely have not selected the right offer when adding the phone to the cart or your device is too obscure. I've attached screenshots of 2 devices that have been inquired about (A03 and 5c) showing the $1000 trade in amount.

$200/line

I believe it is not $200/line because the contract review document only shows $200 not $200/line

Thanks

Verizon rep said over the chat that it was $200/line and $1000 for 5 lines. Yes, paperwork shows $200 but that opens a dispute if they lied.

If I'm already a Verizon customer, can I add a new line to get this deal, and then cancel an old line later?

Just did this Deal for 3 lines

The GC only works for Port in numbers not preexisting customers changing their phone number or adding a new line and removing the old #. Rep said for unlimited welcome lowest tier is only 100
Preexisting customer, 3 lines all new numbers. Traded in an undamaged 12 mini, cracked back and front XS max battery capacity above 80%, and Cracked front iPhone 6s battery capacity at 95%. Got 1000 Credit for each of these phones.

Asked for Activation Waiver and waived for all 3 lines.
Total out of pocket was around 210 for taxes. Gonna Cancel the previous lines once the new phones come in to adjust the bill.
So it's okay to add news lines to get the deal and cancel old lines for existing customers?

For folks who got the 200$ gift card through chat with rep, how did you confirm you got that offer attached to your account and did you get it right away? Also if you are porting from another prepaid carrier how that porting works? How many days does it take? Do I have to go to store for porting?

Is this deal better or Walmart BF GC deal better across the 36 month total?

I did this offer adding two lines. The gift card doesn't show up on the receipt but I asked the rep by chat (who placed the order for me and included the gift card when I asked) and they said it will come as a redemption code by email, and can be applied to bill payments no sooner than 8 weeks after that.

This might be a really dumb question, but can I port a number from another carrier? Is that considered a new line?

Yes that's a new line

for one or two people i think it's hard to beat prepaid yearly plans and buying your own phone.

for example, apple gift cards rights now can be had for 15% off. so a new 16 pro would be $849. you can get unlimited service for around $20 from visible and the like. so your true monthly cost over 3 years would be $849 + $240 + 240 + $240 =$1,569 or $43.58/month.

with that said, if you have a family with 4-5 lines on one account...these deals sound solid. still though, i HATE the idea of being tied to a contract for 3 years.

personally i like the freedom to do phone deals on here where if i chose -- i can buy the older models, use them for a year and resell them for almost what i paid. for example, the straight talk 13 deal...net cost after cashback = ~$215 but a year from now it'll probably easily sell for $140. That's $75.

Now rinse and repeat this yearly and you have $75 phone cost + $20/month service cost = $315/year or $26.25/month. Even the family plan discounts can't beat that.

also note...for me, the battery health is the biggest thing to go bad on phones...a decent drop after about 1-1.5 years so I kinda like just getting a fresh yet cheap phone every so often.

speaking of new older model phones being cheaper...THAT is your "insurance" which you don't almost have to buy on a $1,000 retail phone. break it, lose it, water damage, have it stolen....you just buy another. i always felt kinda uncomfortable carrying around a $1,000 phone.

Anyone know a good estimate for taxes and fees? I know it varies by state/address, but I'd really appreciate even a guess
