This is a pretty good deal from Verizon. This offer expires on 12/2. > QA note: Offer extended

https://www.verizonwireless.com

Get up to 4 iPhone 16 Pro 128Gb free via bill credits over 36 months after trading in any Apple, Google, or Samsung phone with any new myPlan Unlimited line. This includes the cheapest and lowest tier Unlimited Welcome. For 4 lines it works out to be $120+taxes and fees with a debit card autopay.

Terms: "$999.99 (128 GB only) purchase w/new smartphone line on Unlimited Ultimate, postpaid Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Welcome plan (min. $65/mo w/Auto Pay (+taxes/fees) for 36 mos) req'd per phone. Less $1,000 trade-in/promo credit applied over 36 mos. per phone; promo credit ends if eligibility req's are no longer met; 0% APR. Trade-in must be from Apple, Google or Samsung; trade-in terms apply. Apple Intelligence is available with Siri and device language set to U.S. English. Some features and languages will be coming over the next year."

In addition you can recieve a $300 Verizon gift card that will appear as a popup during checkout.

Terms: "Get a $300 Verizon e-Gift Card on us, when you complete the smartphone purchase from your cart. You'll be able to redeem a $300 Verizon e-Gift Card in My Verizon or vzw.com/myverizon after placing your order. You must submit for redemption within 60 days of order. Your reward will be sent via email within 8 weeks after receipt and validation of claim to the submitted email address. If service is canceled or device is returned, claim will be invalid. We reserve the right to charge the amount of the Verizon e-Gift Card to your Verizon Wireless account if, within 12 months, service is canceled, price plan changes from an eligible unlimited plan, or the line is connected to a device payment plan regardless of whether the new device is activated. A suspension without billing will add the time you are suspended to your 12 month chargeback window. Add'l terms apply."

Verizon devices auto unlock after 60 days.

Due to repeated questions in the thread here are additional details.

The $300 Verizon GC offer is tied to purchasing a smartphone online. You are eligible to claim this offer for every order transaction regardless if you are placing an order for 1 phone/line or 10 phones/lines.

The $200 Verizon GC offer folks have been receiving via sales chat/phone is a switch promotion. I am not able to find the terms for this offer but in the past this has been an available offer which requires you to port in from a non Verizon carrier that includes the various Verizon prepaids and MNVOs.

To my knowledge these Verizon GC offers have 12 month service terms or you will be charged back "claw back"

There are currently 2 separate iPhone 16 offers.
- the offer in this post which involves the trade in of any Apple, Google, and Samsung device for $1000 in bill credits with new lines
- no trade in required to receive $1000/$820/$640 in bill credits with new lines for the Ultimate/Plus/Welcome plans respectively

When you add the phone to the cart you must choose the right offer otherwise you will not go through the workflow with the step to add a trade in.

In addition if you enter a non Apple, Google, or Samsung device during the trade in you will receive the actual value of the device, including $0 if its older to be recycled, AND you'll be defaulted to the non trade in promotion.

This is the reason at checkout some people are seeing $10/month or $5/month because they've selected the Welcome or Plus plan respectively and the non trade in offer has been applied.

There have also been a lot of "can I trade in XXX phone?".
The terms state you can trade in ANY Apple, Google, or Samsung phone in any condition. In my experience the any condition is intentionally meant to covered cracked screens and aesthetic damages. The device should turn on and function well enough that the IMEI can be retrieved and have no swelling/damaged battery (for safe handling reasons). Regarding any phone from the 3 manufacturers the process is constrained by the system and the list of devices/imei in its database. Be reasonable and don't expect extremely obscure or foreign region only devices to come up.

You can determine for yourself if a device qualifies for the $1000 by going through the online order process. You will need to enter the IMEI so you must have the device in hand. If you are not getting the $1000 value then you likely have not selected the right offer when adding the phone to the cart or your device is too obscure. I've attached screenshots of 2 devices that have been inquired about (A03 and 5c) showing the $1000 trade in amount.

Through chat, I opened a new account and added 4 lines for the Unlimited welcome plan. Got a $200 Verizon Gift card offer, and the activation fee was waived. I can see the $200 per line in the purchase receipt summary after placing the order. I didn't provide any port information yet but was told I could port in within 7 days.
Did you get the email for gift card ? Did that say 200$ per line or 100$, I thought some people said that its only 100$ for welcome plan? Assuming you did it through chat, were you able to see final total with taxes etc and activation waived before submitting order ?

Thanks a lot for a great post OP. Have a question, I only need two new 16 pro for the new lines and want to keep the other two lines with the current phones. Can I sell the other two 16 pro after activation?

Thanks!
Assuming you do not want to pay them off to keep receiving the bill credits ethically you should not sell them as they still have financing attached to them. I do know sites like Swappa have terms preventing this.

Do port ins from a Verizon MVNO (Xfinity) still qualify for the $300 GC?
The $300 GC does not require a port so yes you'll be eligible to claim it porting from xfinity.

Anyone was able to trade in their iphone 5c? I saw someone posted they were able to tradein iphone 5s?
If you have the device/IMEI go through the online order process which includes entering the device for trade in and you'll get a more definitive answer.

I tried the dropdown menu of iPhone 6 Plus. It said This device's trade-in value is $0 due to its condition.

FYI I was able to get iPhone 4S accepted ($1000 credit), entered IMEI etc. Also was able to do the same with an old Galaxy S3

I just checked and it looks like if I pay the phones off, then I will no longer receive the bill credits. So what is the best strategy if I want to flip the phones? Also, can I sell them without ever opening the box? After porting in, I want to use those two lines with my existing android phones.

But I can pay them off and still receive the bill credits, correct? That would allow me to sell them, right? Also, can I sell them without ever opening the box? After porting in, I would use those two lines with existing android phones.
Once the device is paid off you lose the bill credits.

This offer is only for new lines and not upgrades which has its own offer with its own terms. For iPhone 16 Pro/Pro Max upgrades any phone (any condition for Apple, Google, and Samsung) trade in nets $1000 bill credits on Ultimate and $830 on Plus. $0 on Welcome. The phone you trade in does not have to have been active on your account. I've done tens of trade ins over the years both in store and mailed in.Both Unlimited Ultimate and Unlimited Plus have unthrottled prioritized unlimited data(QCI-8). Welcome does not have access to the faster UWB and is lower priority (QCI-9).Ultimate has 60Gb unthrottled hotspot data and then it's throttled to 3Mbps when on UWB (both band c and mmwave) and 600Kbps on 5G Nationwide/LTE. Plus has 30Gb.
One major dealbreaker for me: Verizon Unlimited Welcome has zero premium data. Even with full bars of signal strength, the heavy throttling makes it nearly unusable in congested areas. It's frustrating to pay for 'unlimited' but get such limited performance. Check out this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/verizon/..._how_many/

Can the activation fee be waived after you placed the order? Will it affect the promo like $300 GC and $1000/device credit?

I'm on a grandfathered t-mobile plan and I've decided to pass on this deal because of this along with the fact that I'd lose my free cell phone protection through Wells Fargo CC autopay. Verizon's autopay doesn't give a discount if using a credit card. I'd also be losing my free hotspot ability.
