This is a pretty good deal from Verizon. This offer expires on 12/2. > QA note: Offer extended

https://www.verizonwireless.com

Get up to 4 iPhone 16 Pro 128Gb free via bill credits over 36 months after trading in any Apple, Google, or Samsung phone with any new myPlan Unlimited line. This includes the cheapest and lowest tier Unlimited Welcome. For 4 lines it works out to be $120+taxes and fees with a debit card autopay.

Terms: "$999.99 (128 GB only) purchase w/new smartphone line on Unlimited Ultimate, postpaid Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Welcome plan (min. $65/mo w/Auto Pay (+taxes/fees) for 36 mos) req'd per phone. Less $1,000 trade-in/promo credit applied over 36 mos. per phone; promo credit ends if eligibility req's are no longer met; 0% APR. Trade-in must be from Apple, Google or Samsung; trade-in terms apply. Apple Intelligence is available with Siri and device language set to U.S. English. Some features and languages will be coming over the next year."

In addition you can recieve a $300 Verizon gift card that will appear as a popup during checkout.

Terms: "Get a $300 Verizon e-Gift Card on us, when you complete the smartphone purchase from your cart. You'll be able to redeem a $300 Verizon e-Gift Card in My Verizon or vzw.com/myverizon after placing your order. You must submit for redemption within 60 days of order. Your reward will be sent via email within 8 weeks after receipt and validation of claim to the submitted email address. If service is canceled or device is returned, claim will be invalid. We reserve the right to charge the amount of the Verizon e-Gift Card to your Verizon Wireless account if, within 12 months, service is canceled, price plan changes from an eligible unlimited plan, or the line is connected to a device payment plan regardless of whether the new device is activated. A suspension without billing will add the time you are suspended to your 12 month chargeback window. Add'l terms apply."

Verizon devices auto unlock after 60 days.

Due to repeated questions in the thread here are additional details.

The $300 Verizon GC offer is tied to purchasing a smartphone online. You are eligible to claim this offer for every order transaction regardless if you are placing an order for 1 phone/line or 10 phones/lines.

The $200 Verizon GC offer folks have been receiving via sales chat/phone is a switch promotion. I am not able to find the terms for this offer but in the past this has been an available offer which requires you to port in from a non Verizon carrier that includes the various Verizon prepaids and MNVOs.

To my knowledge these Verizon GC offers have 12 month service terms or you will be charged back "claw back"

There are currently 2 separate iPhone 16 offers.
- the offer in this post which involves the trade in of any Apple, Google, and Samsung device for $1000 in bill credits with new lines
- no trade in required to receive $1000/$820/$640 in bill credits with new lines for the Ultimate/Plus/Welcome plans respectively

When you add the phone to the cart you must choose the right offer otherwise you will not go through the workflow with the step to add a trade in.

In addition if you enter a non Apple, Google, or Samsung device during the trade in you will receive the actual value of the device, including $0 if its older to be recycled, AND you'll be defaulted to the non trade in promotion.

This is the reason at checkout some people are seeing $10/month or $5/month because they've selected the Welcome or Plus plan respectively and the non trade in offer has been applied.

There have also been a lot of "can I trade in XXX phone?".
The terms state you can trade in ANY Apple, Google, or Samsung phone in any condition. In my experience the any condition is intentionally meant to covered cracked screens and aesthetic damages. The device should turn on and function well enough that the IMEI can be retrieved and have no swelling/damaged battery (for safe handling reasons). Regarding any phone from the 3 manufacturers the process is constrained by the system and the list of devices/imei in its database. Be reasonable and don't expect extremely obscure or foreign region only devices to come up.

You can determine for yourself if a device qualifies for the $1000 by going through the online order process. You will need to enter the IMEI so you must have the device in hand. If you are not getting the $1000 value then you likely have not selected the right offer when adding the phone to the cart or your device is too obscure. I've attached screenshots of 2 devices that have been inquired about (A03 and 5c) showing the $1000 trade in amount.

It should. I've found that the best way to ensure a trade in is received and goes through is to hand it over to a Verizon employee at a Verizon corporate store and get a receipt for it.
This is the right answer. Make sure it is a corporate store.

Quick question. We are thinking about porting 5 lines from T-Mobile that are currently activated on iPhone 13s. Since I will be trading in some older iPhones, is it possible to continue using the current phones for the time being, or do we need to use the 16 Pros that we are getting when we are ready to port the numbers within 30 days?
Thanks.

Yes, in-store. They gave BB gift cards, after charging sales tax for the phones. They gave instructions to apply for the verizon rebate.
Did they waive your activation fee? And how much in Verizon rebate, I'm presuming Verizon giftcard.

Yes, they waived activation fee. Rebate is $100/ported-line, for the welcome plan

Ported 4 lines to verizon, for this offer. Without logging into Verizon accout and checking the tradein value for older iphone, it shows "Estimated for your trade : $1,000.00". For the actual tradein, we have to log into the account. It shows "Trade-in value: $0.00" and option is to recycle the phone at verizon store. How do I initiate the tradein? As per verizon, any phone/any condition is eligible.

For current customers. Y'all can get the full $1000 on Unlimited Welcome if you add a new line with a trade in of a super old iPhone. Even the iPhone 4 qualifies. I did this and going to cancel one line which has no phone promo a month later

Do we have to wait for a month?

I did in bestbuy. They gave $100 bb gift card per line. Then need to apply for Verizon $100 rebate/line.
How much is your total cost out the door after taxes and fees? Did they say if it can be done for 5 lines?

I completed the order with chat agent who waived activation fee and said I would get the $300 gift card as well. Did anyone take this approach as I don't see any reference of $300 gift card in my order. Thanks
Same thing for me, he said the $300 would come as a bill credit in a couple months rather than a rebate.

The plan qualification for this specific offer includes the lowest cost/tier plan.
Not if you're an existing customer.

I really need to research! I am guessing minimum age to sign up for new account is 18. LOL.
I'd get 4 phones and basically sell 3 phones and subsidize the whole thing?? I have to do the math.
I saw a comment the other day, and now I can't un-see it...

So, the comment said, when you see the T on a Tesla, it means Trump!!

Now, whenever I see someone in a Tesla...I'm thinking they're a Trump supporter!
The Irony!

I used the BB website... existing verizon user (18+ years), dinosaur plan. I went through the hoops, traded in 2nd gen iphone SE phones towards 2 brand new iphone 16 pro max's... left a $200 difference at $5.55/mo for 36 month ($200). Had to upgrade plan too but what I just found out is that Verizon has excellent 5G UW coverage but because my dinosaur plan didnt support it I wasnt getting it... just standard 5G coverage with my S22 Ultra. I'm going to switch back to my S22 Ultra and do something different with the phone but my dad is going to get the other iphone 16 pro max to replace his aged XS Max. I hope the 5G UW band will help his coverage because he barely gets any signal inside his house and sometimes has to go outside. Other times, and I've done this a few times, I'd have my phone and his next to each other on the table, I'd call his phone, it rings on my phone but his phone never rings. With his worsening health problems he absolutely needs reliable service for us to call him or for him to call for help!
OH, also got the 2 x $100 BB gift cards

thanks and repped

just an FYI, I haven't even changed my plan yet (haven't picked up the phones either). Im hoping tomorrow (cyber monday) will have better promo pricing. So i was technically able to purchase/secure the phones, get the bonus promotion as an existing customer, plus the gift card, and on a 5 year old plan. I suspect when I go to activate the phones (if they don't do it at the store) I will be forced to change to the unlimited plan.... but so far, haven't.
