Trade-in must be from Apple, Google or Samsung; trade-in terms apply. Apple Intelligence is available with Siri and device language set to U.S. English. Some features and languages will be coming over the next year."

In addition you can recieve a $300 Verizon gift card that will appear as a popup during checkout.

You'll be able to redeem a $300 Verizon e-Gift Card in My Verizon or vzw.com/myverizon after placing your order. You must submit for redemption within 60 days of order. Your reward will be sent via email within 8 weeks after receipt and validation of claim to the submitted email address. If service is canceled or device is returned, claim will be invalid. We reserve the right to charge the amount of the Verizon e-Gift Card to your Verizon Wireless account if, within 12 months, service is canceled, price plan changes from an eligible unlimited plan, or the line is connected to a device payment plan regardless of whether the new device is activated. A suspension without billing will add the time you are suspended to your 12 month chargeback window. Add'l terms apply."

Verizon devices auto unlock after 60 days.

Due to repeated questions in the thread here are additional details.

The $300 Verizon GC offer is tied to purchasing a smartphone online. You are eligible to claim this offer for every order transaction regardless if you are placing an order for 1 phone/line or 10 phones/lines.

The $200 Verizon GC offer folks have been receiving via sales chat/phone is a switch promotion. I am not able to find the terms for this offer but in the past this has been an available offer which requires you to port in from a non Verizon carrier that includes the various Verizon prepaids and MNVOs.

To my knowledge these Verizon GC offers have 12 month service terms or you will be charged back "claw back"

There are currently 2 separate iPhone 16 offers.
- the offer in this post which involves the trade in of any Apple, Google, and Samsung device for $1000 in bill credits with new lines
- no trade in required to receive $1000/$820/$640 in bill credits with new lines for the Ultimate/Plus/Welcome plans respectively

When you add the phone to the cart you must choose the right offer otherwise you will not go through the workflow with the step to add a trade in.

In addition if you enter a non Apple, Google, or Samsung device during the trade in you will receive the actual value of the device, including $0 if its older to be recycled, AND you'll be defaulted to the non trade in promotion.

This is the reason at checkout some people are seeing $10/month or $5/month because they've selected the Welcome or Plus plan respectively and the non trade in offer has been applied.

There have also been a lot of "can I trade in XXX phone?".
The terms state you can trade in ANY Apple, Google, or Samsung phone in any condition. In my experience the any condition is intentionally meant to covered cracked screens and aesthetic damages. The device should turn on and function well enough that the IMEI can be retrieved and have no swelling/damaged battery (for safe handling reasons). Regarding any phone from the 3 manufacturers the process is constrained by the system and the list of devices/imei in its database. Be reasonable and don't expect extremely obscure or foreign region only devices to come up.

You can determine for yourself if a device qualifies for the $1000 by going through the online order process. You will need to enter the IMEI so you must have the device in hand. If you are not getting the $1000 value then you likely have not selected the right offer when adding the phone to the cart or your device is too obscure. I've attached screenshots of 2 devices that have been inquired about (A03 and 5c) showing the $1000 trade in amount.

I completed the order with chat agent who waived activation fee and said I would get the $300 gift card as well. Did anyone take this approach as I don't see any reference of $300 gift card in my order. Thanks
Same here. Completed order with chat agent and said that I would get $300 gift card by email when I activate the new phone. I really hope that she was not making stuff up just to close the deal. I too don't see anything about the gift card in my order confirmation email.

How you get 120$ plus tax for 4- lines on welcome unlimited.

For me it's 30$ plan cost with auto pay and 9.99$ for phone cost so total of
40$ each line so for 4 lines about 160$ plus tax.

Generally it has been 15%-20%. CA probably has highest taxes.

You can use the calculator.,

Assuming you do not want to pay them off to keep receiving the bill credits ethically you should not sell them as they still have financing attached to them. I do know sites like Swappa have terms preventing this.

Good to know. Thanks again!

How many lines did you get just one? If more then why didn't you take 200 per line

When you're adding the phones, you have to choose the option "with trade in" to cover the $9.99, and then you get a $10 discount per line with autopay set up, so $30 a line.

I just got off chat and did this deal. I am coming from T-mobile because I am max out on my lines there and I have been having issues sending videos and pictures text to google user. I am not canceling my tmobile account but just adding more lines on Verizon. Sending pictures and video to iphone user is trouble free. I was offer 200 per line but not the 300. I spoke to 2 rep and both say it was one or the other gift card. I only had 2 line to port in but rep still offer me 200 per line for all 4 lines. Don't know why I couldn't get the 300$ since I am hearing some got both on here. A little upset that I wasn't offer both. I am hearing conflicting story of how you get it anyway once you activate the phone. I could not verified that claim. I didn't get any email confirmation yet to go over.

My order breakdown.
4 iphone pro max in each color on unlimited welcome plan.
Plan is 120 before taxes and fee and my internet discount. Because I got the pro max there is an additional $5.50 (around that amount) extra each month for each phone.
I also added 1 tablet and 1 watch to the order. I was told I can add it to all 4 phone order but only added to 1. I could choose both or just add either a watch or a tablet, so you can choose and mix and match.

I have not gotten an email confirmation yet so don't remember exact number, this is what I recall.
I am paying 197 a month with taxes and fee.
Due today was 504.
No mention of activation fee and I don't remember seeing it anywhere. Not sure if activation is being automatically waive if you call or chat with agent.
Since I am also a fios customer I was told I am getting 5$ off each phone line but no discount for the tablet and watch line.
So my bill is suppose to be 100 a month for the 4 phone line + 20 for tablet +15 for watch+ about 22$ each month for the phone value and taxes is about 27$ and fee is about 12 something which is about 197 a month.

Trading in details.
I got an email for trading in 4 phones. 2 were iphones. One is an iphone 12 with a crack screen. For this promo that is ok. I ask multiple time and was told they take in damage phone but not phone that are activation lock. I had an iphone SE 2nd gen that belong to my grandmother but it is icloud lock because she doesn't remember the account use to set it up. They didn't take that one. I used an iphone X for the second iphone. The iphone x has no issue or damages.
The other 2 phone is a Samsung A12 and A14. No damages.
I had to provide IMEI. This need to be exact and any change I need to contact customer service.
One phone I ask to send to my son who is in school in another state and the rep had no problem shipping it to a different address.

I got email for the shipping label for the trade in but no confirmation email for the transaction yet. Rep did say that I can go to a store to turn in the phone as well. I just need to print out the information on the shipping label and have my order number ready so they can properly track and credit me. Be sure to get a receipt when you drop off the phone. I prefer to go to the store for these things and have always gone to the store to return a phone. More peace of mind.

Port number detail
Rep asks me for the number that I will be porting in but he says that I had 30 days to port in the number; and also that the number I gave today does not have to be the number I needed to port in. I asked this because I don't remember which number belong to my son or daughter and rep say that is ok since I am not porting in any number right now, just call them to activate and give the number then.
He uses the number to add to each phone order but again told me that it is for ordering purpose and the phone number he added to the order can be change once I get the phone and call in to activate. It seems you have 30 days to sort out the phone number you want to use.

Is there way to manually have the $300 gc show up? I'm porting a line in and only get the $200?
