This is a pretty good deal from Verizon. This offer expires on 12/2. > QA note: Offer extended

https://www.verizonwireless.com

Get up to 4 iPhone 16 Pro 128Gb free via bill credits over 36 months after trading in any Apple, Google, or Samsung phone with any new myPlan Unlimited line. This includes the cheapest and lowest tier Unlimited Welcome. For 4 lines it works out to be $120+taxes and fees with a debit card autopay.

Terms: "$999.99 (128 GB only) purchase w/new smartphone line on Unlimited Ultimate, postpaid Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Welcome plan (min. $65/mo w/Auto Pay (+taxes/fees) for 36 mos) req'd per phone. Less $1,000 trade-in/promo credit applied over 36 mos. per phone; promo credit ends if eligibility req's are no longer met; 0% APR. Trade-in must be from Apple, Google or Samsung; trade-in terms apply. Apple Intelligence is available with Siri and device language set to U.S. English. Some features and languages will be coming over the next year."

In addition you can recieve a $300 Verizon gift card that will appear as a popup during checkout.

Terms: "Get a $300 Verizon e-Gift Card on us, when you complete the smartphone purchase from your cart. You'll be able to redeem a $300 Verizon e-Gift Card in My Verizon or vzw.com/myverizon after placing your order. You must submit for redemption within 60 days of order. Your reward will be sent via email within 8 weeks after receipt and validation of claim to the submitted email address. If service is canceled or device is returned, claim will be invalid. We reserve the right to charge the amount of the Verizon e-Gift Card to your Verizon Wireless account if, within 12 months, service is canceled, price plan changes from an eligible unlimited plan, or the line is connected to a device payment plan regardless of whether the new device is activated. A suspension without billing will add the time you are suspended to your 12 month chargeback window. Add'l terms apply."

Verizon devices auto unlock after 60 days.

Due to repeated questions in the thread here are additional details.

The $300 Verizon GC offer is tied to purchasing a smartphone online. You are eligible to claim this offer for every order transaction regardless if you are placing an order for 1 phone/line or 10 phones/lines.

The $200 Verizon GC offer folks have been receiving via sales chat/phone is a switch promotion. I am not able to find the terms for this offer but in the past this has been an available offer which requires you to port in from a non Verizon carrier that includes the various Verizon prepaids and MNVOs.

To my knowledge these Verizon GC offers have 12 month service terms or you will be charged back "claw back"

There are currently 2 separate iPhone 16 offers.
- the offer in this post which involves the trade in of any Apple, Google, and Samsung device for $1000 in bill credits with new lines
- no trade in required to receive $1000/$820/$640 in bill credits with new lines for the Ultimate/Plus/Welcome plans respectively

When you add the phone to the cart you must choose the right offer otherwise you will not go through the workflow with the step to add a trade in.

In addition if you enter a non Apple, Google, or Samsung device during the trade in you will receive the actual value of the device, including $0 if its older to be recycled, AND you'll be defaulted to the non trade in promotion.

This is the reason at checkout some people are seeing $10/month or $5/month because they've selected the Welcome or Plus plan respectively and the non trade in offer has been applied.

There have also been a lot of "can I trade in XXX phone?".
The terms state you can trade in ANY Apple, Google, or Samsung phone in any condition. In my experience the any condition is intentionally meant to covered cracked screens and aesthetic damages. The device should turn on and function well enough that the IMEI can be retrieved and have no swelling/damaged battery (for safe handling reasons). Regarding any phone from the 3 manufacturers the process is constrained by the system and the list of devices/imei in its database. Be reasonable and don't expect extremely obscure or foreign region only devices to come up.

You can determine for yourself if a device qualifies for the $1000 by going through the online order process. You will need to enter the IMEI so you must have the device in hand. If you are not getting the $1000 value then you likely have not selected the right offer when adding the phone to the cart or your device is too obscure. I've attached screenshots of 2 devices that have been inquired about (A03 and 5c) showing the $1000 trade in amount.

I got $200 gc per line plus activation fee waived on Unlimited Welcome
You were lucky to get that waived. We were doing this in store and they wouldnt waive it plus were charged $40 per line for the setup.

Considering 36 months, this ain't a good deal in my opinion. T-Mobile surely comes out off cheaper if you are paying around $30/line on Go 5G Plus plan or above. For a cheap iphone 12 (for $50 or so) you get $830 back and only over 24 months instead of 36 months. You can do the math 👍
OK, I did go into tmobile local store. they wanted iphone 13 or better for tradein. and also want me to get their top tier plan.

Well, I see that anything above 11Pro is in top tier for 830 value so the store lied to you.
I have attached the screenshot for you !

Long story, but I ended up having to do this a second time. Here's some advice:

-Make sure you have your trade-in IMEI numbers handy when you hop on chat. I placed my order yesterday with the CSR assuring me I could add my trade-ins once the phones were received (because I didn't have them handy while I was at work), but every other CSR was like, "They shouldn't have done that," and assured me, while it is possible, it's far more complicated to add the trade-ins after ordering the phones.

-The more prepared you are before hopping on chat, the better. Know the account # and PIN for each of the lines you're porting. I spent the better part of my day on chat with different CSRs only to get disconnected and lose all the progress I'd made.

-Be very clear from the outset that you want the iPhone 16 Pro promo (with trade-in) on the Unlimited Welcome plan while applying promo code CHAT200GC2024 for the $200 credit/gift card on all of your lines. You don't want to waste any time with them - my first order took a couple of hours; this last one took 45 minutes.

-Chat support after their phone line goes down for the evening (it's early) is abysmal. Like, really, really bad. Seriously, don't bother outside of normal business hours.

-Be very clear asking questions - you can't ask too many - so you can get everything in writing, and SAVE YOUR TRANSCRIPT when the chat is over.

Does anyone know when the deal ends?

Still worth it for only 3 lines/phones not 4?

Now the customer service keeps telling me to check the notifications and i cant find a notification in there. Anyone had any success with this?

no It has to meet 3 criterias:
1) It must turn on
2) no screen cracks
3) unlocked
If the back of the phone is cracked but the screen isn't will they accept the trade for full $$$$?

I think what you said is correct. My sales rep - while kept assuring me about the $200 promo, he sent me the link to the old promo for $200 that excluded the unlimited welcome. So I talked to a customer service person and he confirmed the $200. The promotion code is: CHAT200GC2024.

Now I feel comfortable about the whole thing and thanks to everyone for all the shared information.
These deals always come to light in bits and pieces, that's one of the beautiful things about slick deals and its community. I feel like it's only fair as well especially with these mobile device and carrier deals, because as people mentioned earlier in this thread the marketing heads of Verizon and these different carriers are not idiots. They do all these things for a reason. Like naming the plans so similar so they can easily be confused, making concurrent deals with similar terms except for one major but easily overlookable difference. Not even publishing or writing the terms of their best ongoing deal out for anyone to see. Not fully informing their reps about said new BF deal that is oddly similar to a previous deal where the terms were way better for the carrier. Strategically incorporating the $300 gift card which can be combined with cashback websites in hopes people buying multiple devices would jump at that and decide not to have to speak to a rep to get it done, but then still also having the chat promo where it's physically impossible to use cashback when they provide you a link to pay through.

Still no match for the SD community

What is my best case scenario for a good deal? I'm currently with T-mobile with 2 lines, not under contract, phones are unlocked so I would be porting 2 numbers in. I need a third line for my son (phone is going to be an xmas gift), but he doesn't have a number to port in. I have 2 phones for trade in, but the 3rd turns on, but only shows a white screen so I think that voids trading that one in. Any thoughts?

Just got of the phone and ordered 4 lines for iphone 16 pro 256gb with 3-port in and trade-in for $1000 each (iphone se, iphone 7, iphone 6S plus). Added 4th line with device payment plan of $7.77/month for 36 months.
Plan- Ultimate plus
Got $200 each for port-in so total $600 gift card and waived $140 activation fee on 4 lines.
Monthly bill $179.18/month includes (surcharges and fee, $10/month auto-pay & paperless discount and $10/month mobile-home discount)

Im all for being prepared and knowing what's going on, but this really seems like an anecdotal experience. This deal is pretty straightforward, the only part that isn't and that you have to be ready to explain is the ongoing $200/line promo for any new lines via the chat. Any Agent who told you that it was urgent that you provide IMEI's either didnt know about the ongoing promotion through chat, or simply wanted you to scrap the last deal and re do it because it boosts their numbers or commission. It is no different at all or harder in any way whatsoever to add the trade ins later as long as its within 30 days and the first bill. The only difference is until you provide those trade ins your numbers and plan will read like you are doing the regular non trade in deal on unlimited welcome for $639 trade in value. In other words you will have $10 extra on your bill for each iphone 16 pro until you do, just like you have $10 dollars more on each line until you set up autopay it's the exact same situation.

If you dont mind me asking, in what way were yours locked? carrier locked? icloud locked? financing locked? blacklisted?
