You could do that, but the pocket 3 has a larger lens and thus superior video quality especially at night. Even if you put the action 4 on a gimbal it won't be as nice in image quality, although it will certainly be tougher and rain proof because that's what action cams are made for.

If size isn't an issue for you (because the action cam on a gimbal will also be bigger than the pocket 3) then I'd put a DSLR camera on a gimbal instead, with a widescreen lens.

Hi All, as I was seeing this deal is OOS. I tried to do pick up. There were some locations that came up with this price for pickup. Good luck! I found one in CO Wordsworth at this price.

I've been researching cameras for content creation, but I don't plan to do a lot of mobile content, so I really wasn't interested in a "vlogger" style camera like this. But still, this camera kept popping up all over the place in my research for ease of use, picture quality, low light performance, etc. At this price, it became a no-brainer--even though it might spend it's life permanent attached to a boom arm!

FYI, the windscreen and clip magnet are included in the $99 Mic 2, no need to buy them separately. Would definately recommend the wide angle lens though (theres a nice magnetic spot for it in the case). And I would get a bendy tripod instead of the standard tripod - super convienent for attaching to poles, signs, trees, ect. Just attach it to anything and the gimbal auto-levels super quick!
