Does Costco do price adjustments? We bought that recently.

Edit it looks like we are about 2 weeks too late.
They have 90 day return, worst that happens return it if they don't match the price; but they are good about adjustments etc.

I bought this exact computer last week, it's a beast. This is the motherboard: https://www.asus.com/motherboards...-a-ax6-ii/

My 4070 Super is an msi (I realize that can vary)
Memory is T Force Delta 16GBx2 5200
Thanks this is helpful. I built one using component deals here including case and the Walmart cashback. Built with x870e mobo and amd (didn't want to risk Intel), came to similar price. The super is the real value though. I only was able to get a 4070

I know it's not listed on the site but curious to hear if anyone if getting the Indiana Jones offer code or redemption instructions along with this purchase. It should qualify based on the card inside and other similar machines but the rollout seems very haphazard. Costco also isn't anywhere as technologically sophisticated as other retailers.

Not a big gamer but I also don't want to build a new pc. Kids are getting into some gaming. I basically need it for plex server to transcode 4k movies streaming to firetv which are all hardwired. Is this overkill?

It's overkill now but it won't be in 2 years whereas you might need a new machine for the kids then if you buy a cheaper model now. All my computers have been overkill for my use case at the time of purchase but I have a gaming laptop over 12 years old that I would use over any budget laptops coming out these days (obviously I no longer use it for gaming). Plus 3 years from now, you might pass it on completely to the kids and buy a new one for yourself.

So really depends on how future proof you want to be and how trustworthy those kids are with your tech.

Is this worth $400 extra over i5/4060 Ti for $900? I mean is this really day and night difference for starters?

Great price! The cost putting up everything together is about $1210 before tax. Not saving much...

Perfect that's what I figured. Current computer is 5 years old and this one to build costs as much. So looks like one to go with. I guess might get into some computer gaming since I do play some ps5 and Xbox.

I just pulled the trigger on this after stalking slickdeals for the whole month waiting for something like this to come out. I was originally going to buy the Alienware Aurora R16 deal that was here with the 4070ti Super but when I went to checkout they were out of stock haha. Thank you for posting this and have a good Thanksgiving everyone Smilie

That Alienware desktop came back, but it's now $1800.
