Yea, I have lifetime licenses for Plex and Emby. I wouldn't pay for Emby again though when Jellyfin is just as good in most areas.

Yea, I have lifetime licenses for Plex and Emby. I wouldn't pay for Emby again though when Jellyfin is just as good in most areas.

Long time Emby (free) user and love their interface plus it lets me play Bluray Remux without any issues (unlike plex which says it's not supported for free atleast). Yet to try jellyfin but have tried plex and few others and like Emby's interface the best.

Have had plex lifetime for 8 years now and I really like it. It has gotten bloated with features 99% dont care for. I used emby free for a while but never caught on to it

Emby vs Jellyfin is clear - Jellyfin wins as its open source and free.
I have a setup in place where it automatically downloads and places the file in designated folder and refreshes the library.
Personally felt Jellyfin to be simple than Plex, but its personal.
