Have it in white. Great grinder, joy to use every morning. It's quieter than any other legit grinders at this price point.

What grind size are you using for your pour overs OP?

Agreed - it's so good to look at too!

The beans I have are light roast from Costco (https://www.costco.com/.product.1217294.html). I've set it to grind at 6. Seems to be the sweet spot. One of the booklets that came with the product mentioned using higher number in the recommended band for darker roasts, so I went lower for my light roast Smilie.

This is a good deal. I have one in white color and it's great for the daily grind. Quieter and WAY less messy than the Baratza Encore which I returned. Don't forget to spritz your beans with a fine mist of water before loading for less messy than and better performance.

Espresso requires fine grinding, other brewing methods require a coarser grind

I've been drinking the Mayorga Buenos Diaz light roast from Costco for a while. I might have to give the Ethiopia a try next round.

Good deal

I've had this for a year for espresso and it's been great

The grind retention is truly a PITA, though. Doesn't matter if you use the lid as a bellows like contraption or knock on any part of it. So you just end up accepting there will be maybe 10 grams of coffee stuck in there at any given time
