That Ryzen cou has no integrated gpu, so battery life is terrible compared to the TUF which is excellent.
It might be beating this TUF A16 for gaming, but only slightly. Screen is also pretty dim, but not bad otherwise.
Not a bad choice if you will always have it plugged in.

A draw back is prorietory power brick charging. According to a review at BB, in a pinch this can be charged back up via USB C on a phone charger.
I was in the market for a regular laptop that can play the occasional game live CIVV and stuff like that, I had ordered this one but cancelled it in favor fo the costco Acer Swift 16 with I9, 32GB and 1 TB drive and TB ports after I found out that it has a second M2 slot.

The provided mobile GPU version of the Radeon software won't allow screen "clips" recording. I'm still tinkering with how to install the full version and have run into issues where the machine began freezing and I had to uninstall it or roll it back.
I still haven't figured out how to get it to consistently remember my preferences for turbo or modes that use GPU over APU. When I close or open the screen everything changes to some default I cannot set permanently.
My work laptop 65w power delivery charger is useful to charge slowly via USB c if I'm not using the machine, but if I'm actively using it or playing a game it depletes faster than it charges and I'm forced to use the massive brick it comes with. I've ordered a 100w and hope it works in all use cases as my new mobile charger. (Does anyone know the actual spec or how to calculate how many watts pd I need?)
I haven't tried anything other than Fortnite for now, but the fps can't go over 120 without me lowering most settings to almost minimum.
Thats all I can think of for now but hope this stuff is insightful to someone who is curious. Or if you have suggestions I'm open.

The actual maximum RAM limit is determined by the CPU:

However, while gaming this laptop will use more than 100watts. The GPU can use up to 120watts, the CPU can use over 100watts. So, if you're gaming while on a 100watt USB-PD charger, you'll need to dial down the CPU and GPU power budgets or it will slowly discharge as you play.
For typical non-gaming workloads 100watts is more than enough, so that will work fine.
As mentioned above, this laptop has excellent battery life for a gaming laptop. It can run for over 12 hours of Wi-Fi web browsing on battery.
