Seemingly a good deal. I'm looking for some "tiny" PC's for a client, and was pretty set on the Lenovo deal [lenovo.com] for an almost identical PC as this, but it's $629 and includes 3 YR next day onsite warranty whereas this HP is 1 YR and mail-in warranty. HP wants $118 per PC for 3 YR onsite.

Then to complicate things, I have a AMEX $250 off $1500 offer. Hmmm...not a big fan of HP but any thoughts on their tiny PC's?

So not the same deal? This deal has a newer processor compared to the MicroCenter deal?

Can anybody share the Microcenter link everybody is referring? I tried but found the HP Pro Desk 400 mini with i7-12500T. In case people aren't aware, Pro series a lower version than EliteBook, similar to their Pro Book vs Elite Book.
For the mini series, Pro Desk 400 G9 is the lowest variant, followed by Elite Mini 600 and then Elite Mini 800, the highest version.

With this being an HP mini will the BIOS be updated regularly ? I've heard that the Belink , Ace Magician and most if not all the other mini pc's are only updated once in the last month or 2 just before the release of the pc and that's it. Or correct me if I'm wrong. I just had a Beljnk go haywire on me and it seem's it might be the BIOS either way it's pretty much a tiny brick now so this has left a bad taste in my mouth as I;ve only had it about 7 months.

This is a business class mini pc with tons of support and updates. You're paying for that. (expensive, with support and drivers)

Those other chinesium mini pcs are like one run makes. They make a certain amount, make sure they work, and sell them. When they're sold out, that's it. They already moved onto the next model. You'd be lucky to get a bios update or two. You're paying for that as well. (cheap and barely if any, support.)

As Ghostfreckle has mentioned, you will get premium support, software update and Bios updates for these Business Class PCs, in fact higher than their normal and gaming counterparts. Also, in case of any bugs or software related issues, you're expected to get faster fixes than their normal Non-Business PCs.

Even Better... It seems to be showing at $519.00 until about 7:00pm Central time today. So $493.05 with the 5% coupon?

yes for major security stuff. but don't expect those BIOS require that much maintenance compared to consumer motherboard BIOS, and thus they don't need to be updated all the time.

I have two of these (HP Elite Mini 800 G9's) I purchased earlier this year about two months apart. Have gotten two BIOS updates since purchase that included security patches.
As @ghostfreckle and @Suryasis noted, these are more robust business-class devices versus consumer or gaming lines, and they fall under HP's Wolf Security for Business umbrella. They're going to be more reliable, and you're going to get better support for longer with these devices than you'll ever get from MinisForum, Beelink, etc. I went that cheaper route once. Never again. Not worth the aggravation for the savings.
