These are $499 (for the pro) at several TJ Maxx/Mashalls/Homegooods/Homesense stores, check there if you have time. I got one in blue in 2022 and noticed recently the blue coating is chipping on the drip tray, maybe silver is the best option?
What section will it be? I checked Home Goods, TJ max, Marshalls (fortunately they are within walking distance) today, none of them seem carrying this kind of stuff. All I saw were cloths, toys, cooking ware, etc.

They don't always have them, and apparently when they do have them it's usually just one. Actually it's more accurate to say that they don't usually carry it - I think I've only ever seen it once.

Oh trust me. I just visited all the Tjmaxxx Homegoods Homesense around my area. Took me around 200~250 miles to know that i dont have the luck of catching a Barista Pro or Touch for 499 lol.

I saw one a Macy's in the checkout area shelf. Tempted, but I think we are looking for a fully automatic.

I go to them frequently and see them more often than not. Usually in higher end areas.

That makes sense. I guess they also sell out quickly when they do get them in. I visited TJ, HomeGoods and Marshalls in my area and didn't find any Breville Baristas, but did see a variety of other Breville small appliances. I'll have to check more often.

TL;DR: found 3 Barista Pros at the same TJ Maxx that didn't have any yesterday!
So tonight we visited a different Homegoods and Marshalls, as well as the same TJ Maxx that we visited yesterday. At this Homegoods I couldn't find their kitchen appliances (they didn't have them set out on a table like most stores) and I had to ask an employee who showed me the shelves where they kept this stuff. They had a Breville Grind Control for $250 (I've also seen this at the other stores recently. Didn't see any Baristas at first and we were about to leave when I noticed a big box on a higher shelf. I turned it around and it was a Barista Express (in sesame black) for $499. Very exciting! But my wife reminded me that we wanted a Barista Pro so we headed to Marshalls. At this Marshalls they also didn't have a table, but at the back corner of the store there were some kitchen appliances on the shelves and on the bottom shelf we saw the signature big white square Breville box. Turns out it was an Infuser for $399. A bit of a let-down, but still exciting that we were finally finding these Brevilles. Our last stop was TJ Maxx. We had actually visited this same store last night so we were not expecting to find anything, but it was on the way home so why not. So we headed to the table and I was shocked to see one… no, two… no, three Barista Pros in silver for $499 on the floor beside the table! I checked the serial numbers and chose the one with the latest number. These 3 were all made in the first half of 2024 (the first 4 digits of the serial number are the year and week of production) and had mention of the Baratza burrs on the boxes.
Anyways, I'm super happy and am looking forward to making my first shot of espresso in the morning!
If you're looking for one of these, keep checking the stores.
