i think the major problem is when purchase is split into multiple smaller transactions < 400. if it's one single charge over 400, you should be fine. disappearing is a good sign that you are getting the credit

Mine disappeared from my promotions as well (Backcountry and Allbirds) and it freaked me out. I wrote a note over the secure messages last night about not being sure what happened.

No response yet but the promos did show up this morning in the 'redeemed' list 4 days after the purchases. I went back and checked and my last promo from ThredUp also took 4 days to process/fulfill so I'm feeling hopeful. Credits aren't in the account yet but at least the proof is there now. (Took a screenshot this time!)

My Backcountry order of $482 finally shows as a Charge.
Offer still showing. Now I guess I wait for the $200 Cash Back.
What's the typical time frame to those that got the $200 Cash Back after your order charge got posted?

Update: My order via Paypal was not accepted by Chase.
Was having some check out error when trying to place the order and used paypal with my CSR instead but they are saying it will not be accepted. Going to return and redo the order immediately.

I called Chase to follow up and they mentioned to give some time for things to process on the back end. My AllBirds stuff got accepted as redeemed so I'm less worried (particularly because AllBirds was showing up a little different on my card statement).

I've received both cashbacks from Backcountry and Allbirds.
The Allbirds charge appeared under Shop Pay, while the Backcountry charge shows as a single transaction over $400.

Same situation and response here... Allbirds went thru and Backcountry split the transaction... I'm Chase Private Client so pretty confident they'll manually process it if need be.

Someone who had their purchase with split transactions below $400- please report when you receive your $200 CB or any indication that your CB is processing, incl email notification of offer redemption or the disappearance of your CB offer from the offers page.

I see my allbirds offer as redeemed now. Backcountry has disappeared from the list but is not yet on the redeemed tab. Hopefully it is close.

3 x HOKA arrived today. Still see the $63 in cash back pending. Fingers crossed. Would make it $55/pair. For the GOOD non clearance colors.

Just got off the phone with CSR. The rep said it is ok to purchase $400 in gift cards (directly through backcountry) and I will get the $200 credit.

Those who bought a giftcard, can you see what the transaction shows up as on Chase?


Also, does anyone know if Chase will take back the credit if you return anything in the order?

Website checkout was having issue, won't accept card no matter what. Seems like their fraud prevention system as new account on back country. Anyways, called their customer service, placed an order with representative. All looks good, charges shows as pending but also a credit for exact same as reversal of the charge. However, I did get tracking from BC (FedEx).

I hope it is just a glitch. Has this happened with anyone else?

TL;DR: Got charged, order shipped and now seeing a reversal of charged amount + an extra $0.04
