Leno returned to 11:30pm time slot

NBC Shakeup -- Jay Leno Comes Out on Top [tmz.com]

We're told Jay and Conan have both been told of the changes. As for Jay, interestingly, he'll get what he always wanted -- his 11:30 PM time slot.
No words on what will happen to Conan and Fallon... whether they both will get pushed back one hour of if one of them will be fired.

I prefer Leno at 11:30 than 10:00.

But yeah basically conan's 12:35-1:35 audience didn't follow him to 11:35, and the 11:35 audience isn't a fan of conan's style of comedy.

Im sure if Leno went back to 11:35, he'll prob get the tonight show back to #1 above letterman.

Fallon is not funny at all.

The only thing I've ever found amusing by him was his skit as the annoying kid from Boston on SNL.

Other than that, Fallon = Faillon

I despise the fact that Leno will get his old time slot back, especially because Conan is funnier, but I do think that Conan is more suited for the later time slot. I remember during premier week of Conan at 11:30 he had a skit of his comedy being tested to some older folks while he was in makeup so as to not be recognized and the people where just not having it, it was very funny to watch, but ironic that in the end it worked out to what has happened to his show.....Heres to hoping Conan stays, or goes somewhere else like ABC or FOX

I think the problem is that Fallon is too deferential to executive producer and SNL creator Lorne Michaels, maybe because Fallon is so young or too thankful for his SNL break. He'd have a decent show if he'd get rid of the dumb Leno-style games and not let certain interviews be totally boring.

Leno, one of the best stage comedians ever, was never funny on the Tonight Show after he was made it permanent host. Even the monologue was weak

I believe Conan has a very solid contract that would make it very expensive for NBC to kick him off the Tonight Show, while NBC has already bought out Leno's contract, leaving with no clout except the threat to compete against the Tonight Show. So I expect Leno to jump ship to ABC or Fox.

Conan needs to bring back that bear and the attitude that went along with that kind of comedy. OTOH it's good that Andy Richter is back,
