Leno returned to 11:30pm time slot

NBC Shakeup -- Jay Leno Comes Out on Top [tmz.com]

We've learned Jay's 10:00 PM show will go on hiatus February 1. After the Olympics, Jay will take back his 11:30 PM time slot. What has not been decided -- whether Jay's show will be a half hour, followed by Conan, or whether Jay's show will be an hour and NBC says sayonara to Mr. O'Brien.

We're told Jay and Conan have both been told of the changes. As for Jay, interestingly, he'll get what he always wanted -- his 11:30 PM time slot.
No words on what will happen to Conan and Fallon... whether they both will get pushed back one hour of if one of them will be fired.

I prefer Leno at 11:30 than 10:00.

I hate the fake laughs on Ferguson's show. Next time you watch, listen for them. When he does that dumb intro with the camera right in his face there will be so many random outbursts when the stuff he says isn't funny at all.

Conan is awesome. I get the feeling he's more for the younger, somewhat-intelligent demographic while Leno is for old simpletons who need jokes spoon-fed to them. Smilie

They aren't fake. There was a recent interview where the interviewee even said they thought they were fake and realized it was real. The fact is Ferguson is a true comedian. Improv > Scripted.

What is wrong with you? The laughs Ferguson gets are all real, and if you don't find him funny, then you have no brain, no soul, and no good taste. Even comedians are amazed at him, including Letterman. It's Leno who relies on greatly amplified microphones during his monologues, but even with them you can tell the audience is laughing only out of politeness.
