Yes, I do these with an existing ATT account by adding and cancelling line. Same should work for VZW as well and the timelines are also similar i.e 3 days to cancel the line for waiving activation fee.

Yeah, I need dual sim and don't know if the $140 moto g stylus worth it or not. It was $150 a week ago, still going down I guess.

When you use the term "dual sim" are you referring to a phone that has both a Psim slot and an additional esim capability like the iphone 13 ? Or are you referring to the iPhone 14 and above that just have two esims available?

Any combination when 2 lines are on, 1 physical + 1 esim or 2 psims or 2 esims. I'm not sure if there were ever phones that could do more than 2 lines at a time. And it's not my term, there's even a wiki page for dual sim. Smilie

Well, I asked that question b/c I have had Moto branded androids for several years, and I was not aware they were making anything with an eSim capability. So thanks for posting and getting my interest up.

Moto g stylus has eSIM so are Moto g and g power 2024. Moto razr and edge phones have it too. All of these are available with lowest prices with carrier activation

Thanks. I have a Moto Stylus 2024 that originally came from Cricket and no eSim. So I am pretty excited with these deals that I can get a slightly different model with that capability, at a really low price. These phones from BB will also have VZW capability, and mine does not. It never ceases to amaze me how the manufacturers can have so many different versions of the same device!!

Appreciate the feedback.

On another note, your original post above must have been a BF/Cyber Monday deal as they have now raised the price to $109.99 before the $99.99 carrier discount.

Yeah, it was a cyber Monday deal. You can still get the 2023 version for $0 but I'd recommend spending $10 for 2024 version instead of you are going for g play

The phone comes factory unlocked so you can just use it with any provider. You order the phone and when it ships (they activate the line before) you cancel the account. Phone is not carrier branded. I think both are easy to cancel but I have done with ATT by adding a line on an existing account. The problematic part is the bill that comes after. You do have chat with them to get all the fees voided etc.

You can just use it with USM. Make sure to not activate it on ATT. Hopefully, you have started the cancellation process once the phone shipped?
