In case you need a cheap phone for backup/samsng trade in/gift,

You will need to open a new line with Verizon to get this price. You can then cancel the line once the phone ships/picked up. Activation fee is waived if cancelled within 3 days. You end up paying couple of days of prorated charges. The phone is factory unlocked and ready to be used with any carrier
