Don't buy this POS. Terrible color and HP locking down the cartridges more and more. Toner costs a fortune and no cheap compatibles available.

Wirecutter seems to rank the similar 3301fdw highly, not sure what the difference is between that one and this 3301sdw model.

Our trusty Brother at home has finally bit the dust and I'm looking for a replacement, but it seems like all the BF/CM sales are Canon and now HP.

Go to Costco, and buy an Epson Ink Tank printer...I bought my ET-2850, in July, 2023. (Cost 199.99 + tax) If you wait for a Sale it will save you about $30, and you will get an extra bottle of black ink. There are a lot of horror show reviews on ink jet tank printers. I bought at Costco, because they have the best warranty, = customer satisfaction!

I have only had 2 problems, both due to cheap paper ( Sam's Club bond) I have now switched to Hammermill paper and have had no further problems. I have now 7,338 printed pages from my ET-2850, and I am still on my original inks supplied with the printer!

If it died today, it is still much cheaper than any Laser printer that I have owned...

Never thought about this kind of printer before. Price is great but reviews are mixed.

How's the print quality and wifi connectivity? Does it jam?

FWIW I had a brother and it was a POS. I have the higher end HP than this one, HP4506fdw and it's been pretty solid. Another piece of advice, buy your printer from best buy with the geek squad warranty for 4 years. If it breaks, no questions asked you bring it and get a replacement one right on the spot. Worth it

That's what saved me with the brother. I got the equivalent in credit and picked up the HP

Looking for a laser because our eco tank has bit the dust after less than two years. Our HP laser is still going strong after more than 15 years for the one I have in my classroom (HP) and 12 years for the one we have at home (Samsung.) Both are black/white and we want a color printer for home.
