Everyone who is comparing this TV with OLEDs, miniLED and OLED have their own advantages. I use LG C3. I always close my windows in the afternoon to watch on OLED.. sound quality is very poor on OLED, you must go with external speakers. Mini LED shines in these 2 areas. Sony X93L is best mini LED of 2023.
You can get the 77 inch LG OLED B4 for $100 more
Yup. This needs to drop another 200-300 to be attractive.

Why are you closing windows? I have a 77 C3 in a room full of windows with no issue.
I'm glad your LG C3 works well in your setup! In my case, my room has a lot of ambient light, and I've found that the LG C3's glossy screen reflects light quite a bit, especially during very bright conditions. This makes it hard to enjoy darker scenes or subtle details in the picture. It's possible your room lighting or the placement of the TV minimizes reflections better than mine. It's a great TV otherwise, but for those with brighter rooms like mine, reflections can be a challenge.

Losing their privacy and paying for it. Astonishing to me. Apple and Alexa same thing though. Is the age of espionage. They make you pay for it, with no alternatives.
What's the alternative? It's a conundrum I wrestle with also!

Love the X93L while the reflection on my Samsung I did get used too with lots of windows, once I went with the X93 I notice it so much more on everyone else's TV when I visit. So annoying.

You do realize these TVs can be setup without connecting to the Internet?

I don't think anyone is debating whether the X93L is a great TV, it's just that people don't think it's worth $1500(on sale) compared to every other sale going right now.
Shit, some people got the 77" B4 on Ebay for like $1200 within the last week.

Is this deal actually working for anyone? I've tried multiple times to order it and it keeps cancelling my order.

Exactly. I don't know why anyone would get the Sony over the C3. To each his/her own I guess.

Ahh yes the glossy screen is a fact. I had a feeling it was probably a difference in content more than anything. I'm typically only watching sports during the day time so don't have the challenge of darker scenes. However, now and again I will watch a show or movie with dark scenes and feel the need to pull the curtains.
My main gripe about the LG OLED is how terrible it is for watching movies with dark scenes, I get how much love there is for gaming with the LG's but for regular viewing compared to what used to exist such a disappointment. I guess for non gaming viewing there no longer is a great TV. I sure miss the depth, clarity and performance of Plasma just not the weight.

The technology in these is a bit behind... it's time for Sony to release models with more local dimming zones... they are trickle releasing their sets compared to TCL and Hisense... X90L has 80 dimming zones while the X93L has around 400... on a 65 inch that means each zone is around 2 square inches.

The weight AND the power usage! But I do hear you, I want a 75" + that ROCKS for MOVIES at a fair price! Play 0 Games...
