It finally updated to $60 pending a week ago and today the $60 is finally available (will try to redeem it tomorrow) -- terms said I needed to keep service for 3mo so it didn't update to pending until a week before the 3mo mark

I think the bolded will be a headache. depends how much you value your time vs 13 days value of prepaid service.
BTW, when you say 'check the website for the zip code you should use attached to the line, or use zip 33178.' . I was wondering if you used 33178 or the zip shown you found in Manage Line/Device section after you log onto your Tracfone account. I am a little worried.
