Got this free when Epic was giving it away. For $5 I would say you could do worse, but I wouldn't really play it solo. I would think if you could do it with friends, it's actually fun. A buddy and I played a bit of the opening, I thought it was decent, but man was there a lot of breaks in the momentum with story and exposition to move things along. I understand why it got all the hate. They did some cool things, but was brought down by all the other things they added to make it a LIVE game. Overall we didn't stick around to do more. I might jump on and try a pickup group, but don't think that would be as fun. Too bad too, because I had been really waiting for this one being a big DC and Arkham fan.

How is Gotham Knights? I tried when it was either ps plus or GamePass and couldn't get into it, but only played an hour.. does it get better later on? Tempted to give another try and this price is so low.

Got this free on Epic and frankly it was rather boring and lost interest quickly. You are better off watching the cut-scenes on youtube if you wonder what happens in the story.

The game is definitely worth $5. Gamers are so entitled now. It isn't great, but if you like the universe it's worth playing for the story alone.

Been playing this with some friends and the cutscenes and dialog are really great, gameplay is a bit meh and I don't see the appeal of the live service part so we'll probably dump it once we wrap up the story but still think it's worth playing through the story if you are an Arkham fan.

I know right? The nerve of consumers wanting quality from the products they decide to spend their hard earned money on. People should blindly throw money at these companies pushing agendas and releasing sub par experiences.

Ps5 is $19.99. Base game on Xbox shows $13.99 and upgrade is $6.99.

You should probabaly put Xbox in title to be more specific.

I hate multiplayer games with story. Every time I've played anything with others, people are talking, carrying on, etc, so there's no way i could pay close attention to cutscenes & story like i do when playing alone.

I definitely thought about it but Steam reviews were full of buyers remorse and refunds over a five dollar game. What a disaster.

Simple, mindless, ongoing open world fun. Have some fun running around Gotham without taking it too seriously. I read that the Gotham in in Gotham Knights was the inspiration for the Gotham in the Penguin HBO (MAX?) show, and that the same artists worked on both. Strongly recommend on Steam PC though instead of console. 60fps on PC, only 30fps on even PS5 and XBX. Having played both Steam and Console, its a big difference in this game for some reason.
