This game was released in Jan 2024. Imagine buying this game for full price, or the "deluxe edition" for 100, and then less than a year later, seeing it go on sale for 5 dollars.

Gameplay is alright. Save the $5 and watch the cutscenes on YouTube. The only thing done right in this game is the animation.

There are too many good games out there, that I don't have time to play and own to waste $5 on what is said to be a crappy game.

I am pretty sure I have this game on Epic, or GOG, I will check it out and if I like it, I'll come back and buy it for $5. If this was physical, for sure, $5 but, digital.. it has to be good or at least enjoyable in some way...

Just because you get destroyed at COD doesn't make it a bad game.... Maybe you're just unable to elevate to the necessary skill set needed to be fun?

I bought this for $20 on PS5 a few months back. I'm 43 and a lifelong gamer that plays a ton of games. This game looks great,feels great andis super fun....till you realize there are only a handful of missions that last no more than 15 mins....some way less.....and that's it. It rinses and repeats which is sooooo disappointing because it's quite entertaining. For $5 it's a no brainer. I put 20 hours in,maybe...plus I bought Joker. I wanted to use him and didnt want to grind repetitive gameplay to unlock him. It wasn't worth it either way although he is really fun to use.

You can tell they tried to make a Spider-man open world game set in Gotham. It feels like something that needed just a little more put into it. I enjoyed it. They all use the same batcycle which feels lame and unfinished. It looks like it was set up to get upgrades too but all you can unlock are paint skins. All in all, the story is ok and riding around stopping random crimes is fun. I thought the ending was kinda mid.

I think I got this free in epic games on PC and didn't hate it. It would have done better not shoehorning in the Arkham lore connections. If I bought it for $60+ I would have been upset. The combat isn't very deep and toward the end it's just more enemies and bullet sponges. I thought the story and dialog was fine, not great. I could not figure out the seasons or whatever so I just finished the main story and quit. Didn't seem to have more to offer after that. The unlockable characters seemed silly to me. Like Gotham Knights, I largely ignored crafting and stuff and just used whatever gun seemed fun and had big numbers.
