Walmart's website says 60hz. It can do 1440p at 120hz according to RTINGs.

Nothing wrong with this TV at all, but If you're going to spend this much money anyway, just spend a little more and get the U7. MUCH better TV IMO. Better refresh rate (120HZ vs 60HZ for the U6), and better picture. Especially if you play video games like I do... you'll appreciate the upgrade.

Deal expired here but Best Buy currently still has both TVs at decent prices ($349 for the U6, $479 for the U7).

I have the Hisense 65" U7 and love it. The built-in Google TV interface is superb. Looks really good!

Price went up at Walmart. Same price at Amazon but was $299 for Black Friday. Hoping this drops down again for the Super Bowl sales in a couple months.

more local dimming zones generally. also they tend to be brighter

i bought the 65" of this during the 4th o fjuly sale (was $50 more then though) specifically to replace my ancient samsung 1080p tv in my living room that was terrible with sunlight coming in and its much better.
